Probably flavor of the week; I personally tend to get a lot of Izzet counter-burn decks and stompy green. It's pretty diverse in general, though; no better time to get into Magic than when no one has the cards to make a "great" deck, and no meta has really been established yet. It's like the wild west atm, it's great.

I agree, I was REALLY sick of mono red/BR aggro before rotation.  Game was largely decided by turn 3 or 4.
I can't wait until the next set releases, though, because I almost always want to force Bant colors in my deck, and there's the least support for those colors right now with GRN's dual lands.  Although the Selesnya cards I've started using are incredible. Knight of Autumn is incredibly versatile and allows me to stabilize against aggro decks while knocking out early Azcantas against control, and March of the Multitudes just wins games on its own, especially when you start stacking them with Convoke.  It's always pretty hilarious how my opponents will bend over backwards to kill my Teferi, only to get run over by 19 1/1 lifelink soldier tokens two turns later.

finishing a project of any kind is a skill. it's one that takes repetition and focus to improve at. the best advice is just to buckle up and finish your stuff. i make a point to always finish every track i ever work on, simply because i don't have the time to goof around with stuff i don't care about. if i'm working on it, it's gonna get done, or else it was nothing more than a waste of time.
if you're not motivated enough to finish your music, ask yourself what's getting in the way? is it desire? i've been there - if something else is more important, then it's more important, and you should treat it as such. is it skill? put in the time and improve. find the impingement and correct it, the same way you'd correct a wrong note or a wonky freq in your render.

This one was great in the contest, and it's one of my favorites from the entire event, overall. Great arrangement, production passes the bar. I'm happy this is on the site.

This is an enjoyable take on the source material. It is rocking and energetic, but at the same time it has this nice floaty, even gentle quality. I did like how the outro emphasized that 'gentle' aspect of the track. Nice work on changing the timpani to guitar as well!

Sweet mix!  One of my favorite tracks from Xenogears, and it's about time that someone did a power rock version of the song!

Holy crap, my mind is blown away. This track is certainly what I needed. I love me some energetic uplifting goodness. Bravo, OA, you knocked it out of the park as always!

I'd table it for until you hear from them- it'd be huge issues later if you started a kickstarter without them approving first.

The arrangement is really nice, good polyrhythms and nice playing, excellent solo too!
 
The acoustic interludes are what set this apart stylewise, though and takes it to the next level. Really good phrasing and chops,  you played to your strengths here.

these placement matches sure are fun

excellent intro- though i wish a little more bass was in there. A huge filtered bass would have sounded incredible under the roiling and bitcrushed percussion. The lead guitar had moments were it sounded very good, and some where the limitations of the sample showed through, but overall I think it worked out pretty well.
Length was about perfect, and though I wish there was a little bit more variation in the sections, i'm cool with how this mix panned out. The ending was classy and brief without being cheesy., which is always a plus.

I talk to Dale once in awhile on twitter - prep a solid pitch for him though, because he is busy AF.

I've been visiting OCremix for as long as i remember, well before the decade.  Well before i Joined the navy in 2010, i know that for sure.  I love coming back here and seeing that everything is going on still.  I still listen to rainwave.cc when I can.  It's awesome to see how far OCR has come.  I remember having to DL songs or looking them up on youtube in order to listen to the remixes.  Makes me sad that some of the artists that i loved like The Wingless don't make and post music on here anymore but i guess that's what it is.  Keep going strong.

From the looks of the rest of the typography, they have probably sold about 4 shirts.
