  1. Congrats on your mixpost Rockos! You sure love your dubstep . This source seems to get a fair amount of love. This mix reminds me a bit like Monstrous Turtles!, except with a dubstep angle to it. It's a fairly conservative song, and it injects the dubstep tastefully. I do wish that drop was more potent though, it could use some more bass to really give its full effect. I'm not a huge fan of the ending either. Otherwise, great job!
  2. I love this mix, especially the guitars and drums - it's definitely one of the best from Vampire Variations. Excellent work here BONKERS, you've only been shooting up with skills!
  3. If I do another for real, it wouldn't be for a couple of months - I'm busy with other things, and I want to see how I fare with my existing load. The main reasons I was thinking this one is that I am passionate about the music for FF6, had started a FF6 project before, and see that there is existing work here languishing. If I do another FF though, it wouldn't be FF10 - I do not find a lot of the music personally memorable. Same with FF8, but I do have more of an attachment to the music there. I have to give it some thought though. I am currently busy with Lufia 2, Secret of Mana, and as a new co-director for Breath of Fire I & II. I also run the OCR TF2 server (& also the main pivot as to when the server gets filled), and am set to create the websites for an assortment of projects, as well as continually learning code. This is on top of everything else I do.
  4. I have no clue how it was set up previously, but the replays are being hosted on my personal server. Also question - should I put a pw for the night?
  5. Hm, I'd probably be interested in reviving it - perhaps I'll make a new thread sometime. I was originally starting an FF6 project before, but some complications caused me to drop it and zircon to start his.
  6. Man, that tracklist is quite outdated. I probably could be enticed to helping revive this should Jason like an executor type of co-director. We'll see.
  7. I say start a new one - it's better not to confuse people with info of others who aren't necessarily going. It's a little too early to be starting something like this though - I'd rather my info be out there as short of a time as possible.
  8. Pretty much this - I randomly happened to be in the same metro car as wildfire & her friends, and then when we got there I also ran into Skummel and a host of others. For those who haven't been to MAGFest before, feel free to PM me if you want to exchange numbers in case you might feel left out on Thursday & want to meet people beforehand. It's a bit early for number exchanging or even suggesting number exchanging to be honest though... Also, I'm sure someone will start a gdoc (or I will) when it comes closer to MAGFest.
  9. I don't recall there being any such rule - in any case, there are not many large albums released on OCR if you check the list: http://ocremix.org/albums/ The only large ones I can recall are FF7: VotL, Wild ARMs: ARMed and DANGerous, and MMX: Maverick Rising. Large albums take more than usual prep for though, because the tagging is more complicated, vetting the albums takes a lot longer, and just all of the normal work is larger as a whole. That said, this year is looking to end with a bang and a lot of work on our end!
  10. That music making computer has some drool-worthy specs...
  11. So I found the root of the problems with SourceMod, and now it should be working again, so voting should be good now.
  12. This is a sick mix, loved it when I heard it at MAGFest earlier this year and still play it from time to time. But can we expect less from Snappleman or virt?
  13. So I finished the marathon in 4:23:44! My body is still sore from running it yesterday...like all over. If you have me on FB or are a friend of someone who has me, you can check out the details of my experience here: https://www.facebook.com/notes/wesley-cho/the-marine-corps-marathon-2012-my-experience-on-my-first-marathon/10151081303501472?notif_t=like Edit: So I saw this on Fitocracy: Sitting on my Butt: 2:30:00 (-3 pts) That is hilarious! To be fair to the person who put that, it was the day before the marathon (which he ran too).
  14. Any infected files would already be a part of the torrent - the OCR torrents are 100% safe.
  15. I may, but don't count on it - I ran the Marine Corps Marathon today on 2 hours of sleep for my first marathon, and it tore my body and mind up. I may sleep after showering & maybe eating.
  16. You could just have the servers list open and check the server by refreshing while on the favorites tab - that's what I do!
  17. Last night Top Gun, Bark, Necro, Your Average Joe, !!, and me were doing the MvM map - we beat all of the giant enemies and thought we were in the clear...then a tank spawned with endless spies that seemed like they were dead ringer spies (maybe they weren't). It was ridiculous . Edit: I also would like to mention that I have an extra Genuine Foppish Physician if anyone wants to trade for that.
  18. Whoever finds out, tell me what the new map(s) is/are so that I can add it to the maplist file! Edit: PW is ocrhalloween for the event! Edit #2: Seems like they added a bunch of new items, and a Halloween crate. Edit #3: Also, this update is ~560 MB
  19. Haha, thanks, although I didn't really want to vent on the OCR forums about Paypal's fees. I'm done taking in pre-reg requests now though, so we're about good to go for the pre-reg group! Just to verify, this is who is in it: kitty DarkeSword Monobrow Prot Garpocalypse ToN ToN's gf Flexstyle Emunator Jose the Bronx Rican Xarnax42 Me
  20. How about Vile, Sigma, or Dr. Light? Or Waluigi, Kratos, or Dixie Kong?
  21. Looks like I might have to lock down the server tomorrow with a pw then when the update hits
