  1. khinsider.net or .com or .something has a MASSIVE amount of vg/anime OSTs. Its the first place I go for hard to find stuff or strange soundtracks.
  2. I definitely played through the halo titles numerous times and was going to preorder ODST but life kept me too busy to do that. Now its out and I still haven't played it. I will have to actually set time aside to do so I guess, especially in light of the above posts. In some regard I am glad it is short....
  3. Nabbed a new Xponent for 450US. Can't wait for it to show up!
  4. Nov. 17th? Thats almost a birthday release for meeee!
  5. Big congrats DiscoDan, I wish you the absolute best in the years ahead!
  6. When does the next round start? This sounds like a good way to improve my repertoire...
  7. Army of Two really is an excellent game to tag team with a freind. I really liked it. I have played through each of the Halo Campaigns with a friend at least once. While the plot of the second 2 can't hold a candle to the first one, they were all really good for co-op play. Really good. Oh. And Castle Crashers.
  8. Star Command Deluxe kept me interested for quite sometime a few years back. If you can find it give that a shot!
  9. Here is the track from my earlier post. Take listen... Sonic 3D blast (saturn/PC) Diamond Dust act 2 ...and tell me, TELL ME, this doesn't make you feel like Christmas. I dare you, lol. I always thought this would be great to remix, but I am having a tough time thinking of how it could be better! It is a GREAT track! The only thing I can think of would be vocals. Christmas choir! There could be some carols that fit this melody, or an adaptation of it...
  10. I've been a fan of the site for nearly 10 years. 5 years ago I signed up for the forums never made it past 20 posts, I was to busy to feel connected enough here to keep involved. I'm here now and loving the forums, as well as getting involved with compos on thasauce and hitting up IRC when my instructors become too boring...hehe. This site is pretty great I think, some excellent support in the workshop forums!
  11. Its not my style to drop crude cliche jokes like, your mom is pretty good at playing my woodwind, so I'm not going to do that.
  12. BGC, I got a KB37 off ebay, reduced price because it had slight use and is missing the box, manual, and usb cable. Im pretty sure I can find one of those, lol. That is less than half what a new one shipped to Canada would have been. This has probably become a very helpful thread thanks to all your responses. I am curious about the UX2... That was a convincing post Dusk...
  13. What would you say if I got one shipped to me for $145? Cause I did.
  14. !!!!!!! I have never seen the KB37 before, thats certainly something I could benefit from as I don't have a midi keyboard at all. MUST INVESTIGATE.
  15. ZZounds! Curse you and your no shipping to canada. Dammit... TSF - Im on my lappy - no firewire, so I am going through an express card... Presonus hasn't released windows 7 drivers yet (Or Vista drivers for that matter), and though some people have got it working, those people are not me. I tried for 3 hours and went to many different forums, did all the recommended solutions, no go. I don't have time to waste on this stuff, so Id rather buy a usb 2.0 and be done with it. I do have a Bose Tonematch mixer, which can act as a usb recording interface, but I am always using it elsewhere, and hate always rigging everything up again. Plus I have yet to use it sucessfully in a recording situation, I always can get sound to the computer to record, but can never hear it through the speakers or the tonematch. That lexicon u42s looks hot, and zzounds has a good deal on it. I need a shipping buddy in the states...
  16. I have a presonus Firebox but am sick and tired of trying to work around issues with Firewire on my computer, so I am moving on. (Anyone want a firebox?) This is primarily for guitar recording, but not exclusively. Vocals would be 2nd, then random stuff. Accordian! What are your recommendations for usb? Lets put a 400$ cap on this too. Thanks all.
  17. In my experience, no other game has caused more laughter, yelling, smack talk or profane outbursts. Our group of friends got pretty good at it and it became a very technical affair at times. It was ALWAYS intense edge of your seat competition! Some of my best gaming memories hands down.
  18. Ok, this is something that I CANNOT rationalize. How RPG games that have insufferably slow text or dialogue make it to store shelves is utterly beyond my brain to explain. Slow dialogue is probably the primary hindrance to people getting into an RPG, and It is unbelievable to me that such issues are not addressed during testing and QA. Also, I just reached Goomba status. Alriiiiight
  19. Welcome to life hey? I'm sure this would be the case with most people here. You know, this thread reminds me of something I read several years ago...
  20. I was thinking about all the games i was nostalgic about, and I think the only ones that I would hesitate to play would be mainly RPG's, simply because of the time required for many of them. Lots of old games I was nostalgic about are still fun, though they are far inferior. I recently played some 2 player Micro Machines (NES) and it was still an absolute riot!
  21. DAFT PUNK CRAP I can't make it bigger! haha
