  1. This is almost too happy and upbeat. Almost. It's got a very natural cheery sound and it's just the sort of ReMix to spread a little joy. Loved the use of the accordion the most out of all the instruments.
  2. Somewhat dark and mysterious, with a touch of sadness at times, that's what comes to my time. The vocals add to the atmosphere and all in all, this was a emotion provoking ReMix. Nice.
  3. Ignition is right. This is like a freaking high energy, high octane rocket taking off! Does sound like it would fit in a high paced movie or a MMX soundtrack. Those guitar licks are sweet and it has just the right amount of kick to get you pumped! Chipsolo was a fun idea and it worked well. Awesome ReMix, loved it!
  4. Very cool work making this theme pop out and relaying the tense idea of battle into the soundscape. The hawk sounds were welcome. I even liked the second one, honestly. Great arrangement and production, and a pretty good ReMix.
  5. Hearing the upbeat electronia dance beat influence for PR in here, but TGH still managed to put a pulsating spin on it that gives it life. The second half of the ReMix is where it really seems to shine and switch things up, but overall, lots of energy and a good beat makes this enjoyable.
  6. Definitely expressive and the guitar and synths work together nicely. The solo and piano additions were a great highlight for me and it was cool to hearing the blending of styles here. This is a ReMix where I think the negatives that some point out are part of the positives for me. Not bad.
  7. Beautiful piano work, Rexy. The sources all flow together smoothly and the production sounds top-notch. Well done. Wonderful ReMix.
  8. Definitely hearing some of the Judas Priest vibe in here. Sixto never seems to ever come up short with his guitar. It's just a matter of higher or lower amount of success. Either way, this sounds like a pretty successful and intense sounding ReMix, which certainly outshines the original. And good lord, man, those solos are insane! So good.
  9. Considering the blend of so many different influences into one track, it's simply impressive that it went together cohesively. Nice work on this ReMix.
  10. I personally always love it when a ReMix sorta looks into the world and view of the Robot Master it represents. Lyrics fit right in to Concrete Man and I love Akuma's vocals over them. Great use of vocal and musical glitching. This is really catchy, especially in the chorus. The entire arrangement seems as solid as......well.....concrete.
  11. Interesting ReMix for sure. Electronics behind some ambient and natural elements, not something I hear often in this exact way in terms of level of each element used. Great hybrid work.
  12. Going to have to agree with what others have already said in that some things were iffy, but the pros were large in number and the variety in different kept things from getting repetitive. Nice debut, indeed.
  13. Intro reminds me of floating in the water out as sea, seeing the colorful world below. Smooth and chilling, even in it's beat, perfect for water.
  14. Best way to end the epic long awaited FFVI album flood? A gigantic orchestra with Chad Seiter at the helm doing Terra, of course! Grand like the best cinematic soundtrack scores I've heard and makes this beloved theme a musical journey. This is one powerful ReMix.
  15. Nothing like a musical smack in the face with raw power. I totally dig those electronic voices throughout the mix and the varying degrees of aggression going on along with the glitches. All I can say is damn, Anti-Syne, you didn't just nail this one, you sent the nail flying out the other side of the board.
  16. Nice R&B hip hop going on in here. Loved the switching of major and minor keys at different points. Smooth beat, great production, all around awesome.
  17. Electric guitar is really used well in this one. Has a bit of a spooky feel at some parts despite how upbeat it is, especially with the bell sounds, synthy melody and voices. Just one of those wonderfully mischievous Remixes.
  18. Dark seedy jazz, doesn't get more ominous than that in a tense sense. Yeah, this is some back-alley barely lit by one "upside down L shaped" light pole at night stuff. Trumpet was great and when it picks up to a more bouncy and yet still evil beat, it just makes every dark part of my soul grin. Pretty good ReMix.
  19. You know, I never would have imagined the victory theme like this, and yet it just seems like something that you naturally think of if you wanted to make it pop out a little more in an airy poppy sort of way. Cool. The vocals sounded like they fit right into the style of the ReMix and it maintains plenty of the melody that in turn, brings on the nostalgia. Sweet.
  20. I love the Bohemian Rhapsody style used for this! It's unbelievable, and I have no doubt that plenty of both Queen and FFVI fans everywhere will praise this as hard as possible, deservedly so. From section III on, I felt like it would have taken the jaws of life to rip the smile off my face. Well done, Jake. Now, can someone help me find my jaw? I seem to have lost it on the floor somewhere..........
  21. Calming, peaceful, and generally beautiful. It really does convey the idea of peace washing over a scene. Great debut for Forrest along with another amazing ReMix from Laura. I'm also looking forward to more from them.
  22. Happy belated birthday to all four of you! Wow, that's a lot of cake...............
  23. You are more than welcome. :D I'm always glad to show some appreciation for talented ReMixers and their work.

  24. Emotionally charged acoustic guitars can really bring out the best of a beautiful song, and Stevo excels at that. Nice touch with the vocals and including Edgar and Sabin in the later half. It's little things like that that add up to one lovely ReMix. Great work, Stevo!
  25. Klezmer on the phantom train? Haha, yeah! This is freaking infectious and you just can't help but move around with this one. Great clarinet and amazing production combined, oh man it's just too much fun going on here. Sweet.
