  1. I don't really care how many times a source gets ReMixed as long as each one has something to offer, and this one certainly as an old school gameboy sound to it at various points, especially after 3:05, which was interesting. I actually like that it uses a little bit of the melody while making the beat more present. It's a nice, new way to hear Ice Cap. Great ending on here as well.
  2. Cyril's voice really fits the arrangement here, especially the harmonization and "never stop" growls at points. Great guitar work, the percussion is awesome, I loved the little falsetto yell at the end and the production sounds solid. Honestly, this is grade A stuff. So good to see a quality Mega Man Zero ReMix hit the front page. Great work Cyril!
  3. Kinda short and at some points you can hear it's age, but all in all I actually liked this one. I'm going to have to agree, DJP was the closest to describing the underwater duck sounds of it, and while certain themes didn't blend or stick out as well as others, I don't think this is bad at all. Mario's voice sounds were a great addition in this one. Nice stuff.
  4. Whoa.....haha, now that's cool. I never expected an A Capella song to show up here on the site (not the first thing that comes to my mind in arrangements), but now that it has, it's got to be one of the best one's to introduce it. Fantastic voices and I'm totally digging the male/female vocal exchange. Very nice.
  5. Haha, yes! Southern Celtic Punk, it's so good here! Nothing better than a good ol'jam with Crash in a way that is reminiscent of Flogging Molly. Arrangement is very colorful and fun, and there is almost nothing I love more than a fun ReMix. I may have missed out on playing Crash Bandicoot, but at least the music is getting some good love. Nicely done you two.
  6. It's like going through a dead quiet factory and only hearing the clanging of pipes, tins and other assorted metals for most of the song at the beginning. When I read that this would be a very percussion heavy atmospheric ReMix, I was a tad concerned of how this would keep me into it for the whole song, but you managed to maintain enough spookiness and lay down a cool enough beat to keep it interesting the whole time. That is no easy feat for any ReMix of this kind. The longer it went on, the more the elements came together like magic and it sounds great. Well done, solid debut.
  7. You have the OneUps. You have the Zelda theme. You know that you're going to get quality and an amazing ReMix. All that is left to do I lay back and enjoy the smooth groove of it all. Thumbs up, fellas.
  8. Sound effects and chip tune together in a tasty little mix. Lots of energy going, which makes this a fun track to listen to, and the way the sound effects help the ReMix along is brilliant. Not bad at all.
  9. Damn, those strings! I really have to praise how amazing the instruments sound in this arrangement. Perfect epic/impending adventure feeling for a ReMix of a volcano area, especially with some of the crackling and bubble flow I heard underneath it all. Loved how everything settled down near the end and came to a peaceful area with the birds. Now that's a motion inside a song.
  10. Whoo, that opening had me ready for a full on ride, and the ride was pretty fun. I can hear some of the skrillex that halc pointed out, and that/this kind of deliberate dubstep is the kind that I can fully get behind and enjoy. I actually liked the "yah-yah"'s here. Sounded robotic and mechanical in a good way. Nice work.
  11. Pretty much the same here, except with Culex, and I just added an "R" so that it'd be Crulex (or Cruel X as it's pronounced. Combination of Evil Mega Man X and Culex, as my friend pointed out).
  12. This is one of the best upbeat trance ReMixes I've heard in quite a long time. This is unbelievably exciting in terms of high energy action and good melody switch-ups. Doesn't matter what the genre is, Willrock does amazing work every time. Great stuff.
  13. I think you did a great job of keeping the original feeling while going into the metal genre, so nice work there. Guitar work and arrangement varied up enough to keep me interested until it hit the Volcano area, before slipping into the 8-bitish section which made me laugh. Great ReMix all around.
  14. The beat certainly fits the bill in the badass walking music mold. The use of the glitchy sounds in this ReMix were pretty fun to listen to and it didn't seem like it was there for the sake of being there. It actually seemed to make the mix. The harder dubish parts of the glitch were nice as well. Great debut.
  15. Okay, this was the song I was interested in hearing because I knew it would be interesting. And I was right. Snowy levels always seem good for trance or, as I call things like this “deep thought” songs, and this is a great example of that. Draconiator and Flexstyle should be proud of this one.
  16. The way the lyrics fit along with the music just makes for something ridiculously fun. I really just want to bop back and forth during the chorus. It's got a really good "la, la-la, la-la" feeling to it right about there, great for the warm sunny days. So damn catchy. Great ReMix.
  17. Damn, this is smooth as all hell! I can really chill out to the beat of this one. The rhodes, and the flute are absolutely beautiful sounding. The source may be called "Cherry Blossom Wind Dance", but that's exactly what I picture when I listen to this with my eyes closed. Damn good stuff, Radiowar.
  18. At first, I wasn't sold, but after it got going I liked it. The sfx, the off-kilter chants and voice clips, and the overall creepy haunted house-like quality of it was great, especially in the areas where it sounded a little more metallic or industrial. Some things I liked, other things not so much, but end of the day, I thought it was a good debut.
  19. This is a pretty slick ReMix. Really nailed the ethic vibe for this one. Gotta love those beats. Makes me feel like I'm right in the middle of the fields where the sun rises.
  20. Interesting to hear halc switch things up a tad bit and go further into the electronica side of things. Lots of great choices in this ReMix when it comes to the flow of it all. Not bad at all.
  21. So many sources......will they blend? From the sound of this ReMix, you damn right they will. Loved the airy female vocals in the background. Adds a little something to the overall cinematic feel of it all. Great job with this ReMix and the amazing video as well. This album has put Deus Ex on my list of games to play in the near future.
