  1. I have to say it, I love this ReMix for how different it is. The grand little intro switching to the more zany western sound was interesting. The whole ReMix has a bouncy weirdness to it, and it's unique. The vocals and whistling wouldn't have worked in my opinion if this ReMix wasn't so wacky to begin with, but because it is, it worked perfectly. This ReMix is charmingly goofy.
  2. Smooth and sexy, this is just what I've come to expect from Morse's work and he doesn't fail to deliver here. The piano and percussion are marvelous and the light feel to the whole ReMix is awesome. So cool, so chill, so good. Morse rocks it as always.
  3. As close to the source as it was when it started, it branched out very well when it pasted that golden point. Acoustic guitar to me is like the solo-piano of guitars, so to hear a Zelda piece with it is beautiful. The sound came off crisp, and the arrangement was great once things kicked up. Love it.
  4. One amazing track from the album for sure. This orchestral pieces just brings a lot of the feelings of grand adventuring from the game into it, and makes it really epic. There are many ways that this could have played out, and I think this was the best way. Really, I don't know what much else to say beside that the emotions of this ReMix really help carry it along with the arrangement. Very good.
  5. The more I listen to this, the more I actually like it. Not mind-blowing or anything, but it does have a great vibe to it and the energy keeps it going. A little more switching up might have done the trick, but not bad.
  6. So we go from cool-ass beat to funky-ass beat. Lots of good ass-er, I mean, good beats in here today. This ReMix is a good ReMix to dance to and I really can't complement it enough on that enjoyable beat. Ending is a bit abrupt, but not enough to turn me away from it. Neon Glaciers, another win in my book.
  7. That must have been one hell of a dinner. Anyway, this ReMix is very cool. That bassline and the beat just sounds so right, and it works so well as the focus of the intro and outro, with the rest of the substance filling in the middle. This is the kind of song that makes you feel cool when listening to it while walking down a hallway. Love it.
  8. Terrific work on this collab by two of the best ReMixers on the site. LuIzA and Level 99 shredded the hell out of this one and I adored the pick up right after 0:47. Great arrangement, great production, sounds badass, can't ask for much more.
  9. Happy Bronxday!
  10. The voting seems to be working nicely. I kinda like the more suspenseful PM voting, but it'd be nice to see the chart at the end. Honestly, loved the first round works, everyone. Keep it up!
  11. Happy Birthday to ya!
  12. It does sound retro in a good way and that's part of the charm. This ReMix gives off a sort of Genesis/Halen combo that does the theme more justice than it could have ever asked for. Loved the middle genesis organ-sounding bit and that solo was very cool.
  13. Congratulations, Mazedad!
  14. Congrats WillRock. Judge with great judgment and don't judge anything less than what seems fair to be judaical about.
  15. 22, Male, and I'll say about 2.5 hours on average.
  16. Okay, so not exactly the best aging ReMix I've heard from the early years, but not the worst either. Sounds like it would go in a game rather than be a ReMix from one nowadays, but for what it is, I don't hate it.
  17. Happy birthday Tweek!
  18. Fantastic! Love the acoustic intro heading right into the driving metal, which I think is better than regular metal. Good choice in adding some backing vocals. Great ReMix.
  19. A very happy birthday to you, BGC!
  20. Hell yeah! Congrats on finishing up the music and getting the preview up, fellas! For a giant album the size of this one to be done so fast is pretty damn impressive. Good luck on the rest of the process!
  21. This is ridiculously funny. I have to agree with some of the other reviews, the whole thing does sound kinda like a Hyadain take on the whole Tetris song with the different voices, and now I have the characters stuck in my head when I play the game. Oy. It's always great to hear a ReMix with a good sense of humor and sounds great at the same time.
  22. I'll be honest, when I heard "industrial" my mind went to aggressive angry guitar driven metal with electronic bits in it. This, one the other hand, seems to be literally industrial in it's metallic feel. Both kinds are right up my alley, and this ReMix is outstanding! I can almost imagine the machines and pipes in the factory that Robotnik is in moving and making the song through their motions. Really cool and fits Sonic's arch-enemy real well. Anti-Syne strikes again!
  23. Cool. I'm really enjoying the beat and slightly spooky sound to this one. Could have been a little longer, but I like it quite a lot. The piano and the percussion really make this ReMix. I do hear the spy bits, but it's a little more clock tower/dark area sounding to me for some reason, which is sweet.
  24. I do like the intro and outro, as well as the low-fi quirkiness of the whole ReMix. It's got a peaceful feeling to it, with something different other than smooth, crispness. Not my favorite thing from this range, but all in all it I liked it. Could have been better, but it could have been worse, too, so it's fine by me.
