    I couldn't think of a detailed review or any suggestions, so I'm just stopping by to say that you did a killer job with your Jazz Jackrabbit 2 remix. I like it a lot, especially the lead synths.

    I worded that post vaguely. It's not for OCR, I just meant that I have a hard time accepting tracks as finished... hmm, I can show you what I've got so far if you're interested though (I may submit 1 or 2 songs to OCR eventually).

    ^see, this guy knows what's up. This is what happened to that album, and [probably] my entire musical endeavors for the past 4+ years. ex., with that album, I've already added five more songs and considered trashing two. I guess I just have to learn when to be contempt, because I do have a tendency to make unnecessary adjustments whenever I learn a new trick. When I get closer to being re-satisfied with that album I guess I'll send it over to you so you can prevent me from dissecting it yet again. T_T

    oh yessssssss. it's perfect. Man man mannnnnn, the second half of the song with the intense lead guitar strumming is pure cheesecake, right on the money. your Lavender Town arrangement is hella dope by the way.

    serious question. I've sent a mix a while back but it still hasn't hit the panel. Yes, it is that same mix I've been working on for years now. I'm suddenly not feeling it. It sounds whack to me, and I'm thinking of starting over yet again (or at least making some more revisions and getting even more feedback in the wip forums). so my question is, If I keep on resending updated versions of this same track will you guys/ladies check for the latest version or will you react like "gregurereuihkjlfdsg JOOOORRRRDDDAAANNNNN!!" I'm pretty sure this will be the last time I make changes to it, but I just want to make sure that if/when it hits the panel it's perfectomundo.

    meh, for some reason it's always incredibly faster on my phone so maybe I'll just have to retire this laptop next year.

    Can do! can't guarantee that I can have it by this weekend, but laying down the vocals is the only major thing to worry about because I sing pretty loud and I only have the house to myself on Tues and Thurs mornings... soooooo, I'll get the prog done Asap.

    when's the deadline for the other one? and are you still up for Metal growl/screaming, or do you think that'll be too gimmicky for the prog one?

    shhhhiiiiiiyyyyiit man.. I've learned to not make promises I can't keep anymore. sorry for telling you week after week after month after month after year after season after millenium after gravitational perspective after reality that i'd have the brass parts for the other version... been crazily busy.... almost way too busy, but i'm not complaining.

    Alright, through hell and Weaboo stampedes I will do my best to have an update by next month.

    hmm, if you think the guitars and drums and everything else sound fine on that prog one then I guess I'll send the current one to let you decide... the drums are just fine tuning, but I really want to get a junga junga guitar sound and not a drrrnga drrrga willy wonka kind of sound...

    i also use ellipses a lot... didn't realize it before.......................................................................................................................=)

    heads up, i'm going to redo that prog victory mix (or at least some guitars and drums and my vocals). and I should have the Black dynamite other version's brass parts laid down next week.

    mane, i've been working on a bunch of stuff (trying to rebuild my online music arsenal and get some more youtube covers/jams in the work), but most of time has been bogged down by work and school, but i'm planning on getting my associate's this fall and then getting a much needed break/hiatus from college next semester (mainly to have more free time, and because i know i can record more beatzzzz and untz untz phat bass lines if i'm not pre-occupied with whack essays about metaphysics and algebraic funkshuns).

    but yyyyyeeeeah, been following/lurking oc remix on my phone, i just haven't had much time to sit down on the forums much lately.

    dat avatar.... needs more DDDDDDDDDDDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHGGGGGGHHHHHNNNNGGGG!!!!

HA HA HA HA Haaaa ha, i dunno but for some reason that scatting reminds me of Goku. specifically Team Fourstar-esque Goku. naw, the arrangement is still killer though. i just wasn't expecting that kind of scatting. 2. man, i 've had a super old-school duke ellington-style big band arrangement for this ----> for the longest time, but I can't notate stuff and I don't have the patience to understand programs like Finale or Sibelius (yeah, i know... ). i'm currently busy spending time with the fam and working extra hours for a short while, but later this fall I'd love to work with somebody to get the idea transcribed. 3. dafuq.... C7 is on board? brb. *runs over trumpet many times and sets it ablaze* also, i think i have an old-school tambourine lying around somewhere, so if any arrangement calls for it i'm just throwing it out there.

    uhhh...i want growls, i don't know if everyone else would like it, but you know how usually i mix up a bunch of random, unconventional things. brb, going to try to finish the edits in an hour or so so i can send it to ya. (it might be around 5ish when i can send it to you because my aunt just got out of the hospital so i'd like to visit her first before i sit down with this mix).
