Haha, yes that was a good batch of laughter. I like. Hmm, dare I ask who would play Mazedude?

Every few years or so I decide to revamp my music site... mainly because I keep getting better at site design and programming. Those who follow have seen that it was "coming soon" for a while there in 2010; well consider the revamp finished and online! http://mazedudemusic.com Lots of new goodies since the last incarnation; classic features like "compare to the original" are in place, but new ones like "The Mazedude News" and groovy social networking have been added as well. And of course, hours of music to enjoy. Had to put this puppy together in bits and pieces, so feel free to e-mail me if you see any typos, broken links, etc. Otherwise, have fun and enjoy the tunes!

Another jingle graces OCR! Good deal. Ya know I've always kinda wanted to do a George Clinton-style funk remix, but was never able to pull it off. But Kunal here does it beautifully, with the aid of a couple excellent performers. Nice work dude. Not too familiar with the original, but I dig the mix.

Well, there are a few that I've done, let's see... Sagat's theme - Street Fighter 2 (Sagat's Moonbike) Microscope puzzle music - The 7th Guest (Microscopism) Hotslug Ice - Missile Master (listen at www.mazedudemusic.com) Mother Brain - Super Metroid (stay tuned for Heroes vs. Villains) As to the originals, Jack Wall's music to Myst IV: Revelation has some unusual time sigs, specifically the Main Theme and the Swamp theme. Good stuff, just haven't had a chance to remix it yet.

Ah, yes! I'm soooo glad someone remixed this game, as it's hugely nostalgic. I loved this old NES title as a kid. I even arranged a brass quartet arrangement of the level 1 theme, just never ended up getting it recorded. Very nicely done. I couldn't place the source from the beginning, but as a standalone intro it works. I also would have loved to hear more Russian Red Army Choir in there. And in some places the harmonies seem to overpower the main melody. but those would be my main comments. Otherwise, I'm very happy to hear more classic NES music arranged and brought to the site.

Man, I went and had a couple's massage today with my wife, and the music in the room was terrible - a super slow and lame rendition of Pachelbel's Canon. Then I get home and listen to this. Now here, this would have been SOOOO much better. Methinks next time I'll bring this on a CD along with a few other select remixes.

Let's see, it'd have to be Space Invaders or Asteroids for the good ol' Atari. I remember my parents coming home with the system, and then sending me to bed so they could play it all night. Then the next day I took it over, and I've been into games ever since. I believe I was 4 years old at the time.

Hmm, just got my PM invite to this from a few months ago, heh. Gotta check those more often I guess. Alas I don't have much free time these days for remixing, so I would have had to decline anyways - but I wish those involved (including many friends of mine I see) the best with the project! Lookin' forward to hearing the result.

Waiting till Friday sounds fine. bLiNd, you're not the only one who had a track in mind and may need to change things up based on the consensus of those involved; if everyone asks the Bad Dudes to do villains, then a few of us need to change up our initial ideas too. But there's plenty of awesome choices, and lots of time, so no worries, we'll all still make some kickass tunage.
