Sonic Colours had a terrible main theme / trailer theme (IMO) but the rest of the soundtrack was fantastic. The enemies do look pretty dang silly, but the gameplay intrigues me. I'ma keep my eye on it.

I agree with this. I can get why a lot of people don't like FFX, but I've been playing through it the last week or so (pretty much at the end) and its been really fun. I love the battle system, and while it is quite linear for the majority of the game, there is plenty of side stuff to do and when it opens up there is plenty to do. The linear nature of the game also makes sense in the context of the plot, with the whole pilgrimage and whatnot. The sphere grid is cool, because although there is basically a set path for everyone (except Kimahri, he can kind of go anywhere) there are ways to move you characters around all over the place and build them how you'd like. Rikku is a tank in my game. The voice acting isn't all that bad (don't cite that laugh scene out of context). The delivery is kinda shoddy at times, but for much of the game the characters are rather convincing. I dunno maybe that's just me. XII is also great and I love it. Aesthetically it is one of my favourites of all the Final Fantasies. Battle system and gambits was a real cool system. Voice acting was great, and the cutscenes were really well done (both in-game and pre-rendered). I do get why there are gripes with the plot but it didn't bother me personally. I tried to play through VII and I know a lot of people love it and think it has no flaws, but as someone who has only tried to play it in the last few years it aged so poorly.

Warcraft 2 - Orc Music 2: (In 6/4 for the first half, switches to 4/4 afterwards though)World of Warcraft Main Theme: (In 7/4 in the beginning, it might stay throughout but the softer parts are harder to tell)

I wanna try speed running some time. I've probably got a few that would be decent candidates for it on SNES and Genesis, but I don't think I'm good enough at any! I could definitely speed run the first half of Shinobi 3, but the rest gets more difficult for me. Perhaps one day.

Do any of the ones from our competition last year count? I'd do another but I have so many projects to do, alas. I suppose there's still some time left but we'll see.

Me and my lady spent most of the day doing final assignments for school, and I tried to work on some music. No family alas But we made Easter Burgers mmmmmmmmmm. And ate some chocolate! Happy Eeeeeaster

My girlfriend is pretty hype. I've been under a pact to not buy any new games until Animal Crossing comes out, but I bet she'll buy it at some point. It looks pretty awesome!

I'm getting more of a Shinobi III vibe from this with the instrumentation and overall jazzy-ness (a good thing, I gosh darn love that soundtrack). Yeah how is this done? Is it a tracker? I've been learning a tracker called DefleMask myself for some Genesis chiptunes. Regardless the method, this is really great stuff.

The sidescrolling sections are really fun, and if you've ever played Shinobi III on Sega Genesis it plays similarly to it in a lot of ways, though with some added features like parrying. There are some short horse riding stages that are a little gimmicky with the perspective but they don't detract too much from the experience. Maybe not worth getting at full price (I dunno how much its gone down though), but maybe if you can find it a little cheaper or used I'd say give it a go. Just my opinion of course. Its been a while since I've played it so I could be missing some things.

Villagers actually water flowers in this one, I know that much. There are a lot of cool new features, so maybe keeping your town neat and tidy wont be as difficult this time around! Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon looks really cool, especially with the added multiplayer mode. Too much good stuff coming out, gotta pace myself.

I was hoping for Animal Crossing to come in time for my birthday in May, but a couple extra weeks is okay So glad it finally has a release date!

Every time I come to this thread I want one more and more. Gotta get dat money. Hopefully some of the jobs I've applied to work out! The future is looking so fine for the Wii U. Is the Dragon Quest X upgrade confirmed to be coming to North America? That is something I could seriously get behind.
