  1. I'm up for editing at large too. Just going through my bios, making a few changes (omitting spoilers, rewrites). Removed an unconfirmed statement in the Donkey Kong bio. Removed an ending spoiler from Ganondorf. Reworded a paragraph from the Geno bio to omit the ending. Unspoilered Metroid bio. Naked Snake, added the fact that there is MGS3 material remixed in Reuben Kee's mixes. Minor Ness change. Minor sentence change for Viewtiful Joe. With rewrites coming up for Saria and Penelo.
  2. I'll have to renew my definition of trolling.
  3. I won't completely lose hope until you guys try and incorporate Smash Bros into the timeline. Anyway.. the flood seems to be the popular choice for the ending. Just make it compelling if it's expected.
  4. ...and t'other. Depending on your Dr. Wily bio's status, Dafydd, that's all of them? Karin Kanzuki CAPCOM 1998 Even when born into a rich family that can attend to one’s every whim, Karin’s desire is not exclusively material. Her rival is that of Sakura Kasugano, and her training in street fighting is simply to outperform her. Unlike her rival’s Ansatsuken style, the Japanese schoolgirl makes use of her family’s Kanzukiryu kakutoujutsu martial art. The motto of her house is ‘All you need is victory’; winning is her game. Karin is very much a hand to hand combatant. Her Kourenken palm attack can be combined with a number of finishers to different outcomes; the Hou Shou single palm strike, Ressen Chou double elbow, hop or slide kicks, or a reversal against the opponent. One must get the hand of these combos to be effective with Karin. When initially defeated by Sakura, Karin vows revenge and searches for the next fight that she means to win. Using her family power she tracks down the roving Sakura and does eventually emerge the victor, yet only by a passing chance. Karin realises the victory’s importance is irrelevant when compared to the fight, where the true significance is. 5. One... Sakura Kasugano CAPCOM 1996 Is it healthy to be obsessed with a fighting champion? Sakura doesn’t seem to question it, following her idol Ryu at his every whim, style, fighting techniques, and success. The coy Japanese schoolgirl wishes to be trained by the master she adores, but until then, taking notes on his moves and copying his technique is her work. Still, some may (plausibly) find it strange for a 16 year old student to be interested in street fighting. Her art is for fun, but also for self defense and appreciation; ever since her run in with a college gang, Sakura has vowed to protect herself with her training. Ryu is key to her inspiration. As Sakura translated is the name for the Cherry Blossom Tree, so are her moves a variation on the theme. She shares the Hadouken fireball with Ryu, also holding a running Dragon Punch (Shououken) and Shunpuu Kyaku, a variation of the hurricane kick. The super First of Spring (Haru Ichiban) is one of the best in Street Fighter Alpha II, a grounded hurricane kick that ends with a straight, horizontal kick sending her opponent across the fighting ground. At the conclusion to her quest in searching for Ryu, Sakura finally has a chance to spar with her hero. With disappointment Ryu confesses that he cannot train her, as his path contains much to learn for himself. Yet hardly does that put Sakura off in her training... 6. There isn't any need for that option, since the remote will just be as easy to use for us lefties. I'm using my right hand for the mouse right now, don't see how it'll be any different. And I don't think they release exact numbers for years apart, seeing as it doesn't really matter. The main thing to get across is that TP Link isn't the same one you played as in the two N64 games.
  7. I'm very happy with the vocals in this mix. After hearing the introduction to the song (which is just class), I was waiting with disappointment for when Jill's vocals would take centre stage and push the rest of the song back. Thankfully it turned out similar to PriZm's Xenosaga mix, which rocked in its own right. Brilliant guitar, beats- this one's a keeper.
  8. Bah. This one pretty much confirms the rumoured Thunderbirds cameo.
  9. http://au.wii.ign.com/articles/743/743808p1.html Stop playing with our minds and post the damn thing.
  10. I thought it worked with WindWakers style. Just not a typical zelda ost Yeah, I suppose. I know he can do some good battle stuff (Lylat Wars).
  11. It wouldn't be a panel. It'd be like.. a corner.. Actually, I propose a Judges vs. Unmod mud wrestle.
  12. CE's got the right idea. I was going to make this very thread for the exact same reason, if only closer to release. Keep your spoilers in here, American pigs. Toru Minegishi (miniboss theme from Majora's Mask) is the lead composer on this one, with Koji Kondo taking an even workload. Here's hoping Hajime Wakai doesn't show up.. his Pikmin styled compositions didn't really work in Wind Waker.
  13. I dibbed Sakura, but Gawd wanted had intentions of doing her bio. Seeing as it's been a while.. I can get that done within the week. Only two days of exams left.
  14. Now that was a cool boss. Bitch, too, with it's rather efficient killing techniques. Got it second time after clearing the rooms above it beforehand, came down with a full 100. Was left with 30 by the end of the battle, and only just enough to carry it's treasure.
  15. But was it released before the arcade version? Not much point in doubling up.
  16. Sony literally has the whole company on the line with the PS3 - boycotting them can have a tremendous effect on their future. Only if, say, several million people call to arms and refuse to purchase. I was trying to point out the minority who decided against Sony for this single incident.
  17. I know I'll be getting one down the road purely for Fumito Ueda's stuff. Don't think there's any doubt the PS3 will have a huge library, and I want to be able to play those titles. Waiting for them to accumulate first.
  18. Sony's move was pretty bitchy. Doesn't mean I'm not going to enjoy their games in the future. All this boycotting Sony and 'never buying their stuff again' doesn't hurt them. It only hurts the person doing it.
  19. Cut to present day, and I rediscover The Leaning Tower of Babel. Don't know if it'd make it onto the site, but it's definitely one of the tracks that stand well on their own. Kudos.
  20. The hell why this doesn't have more comments? Very happy this didn't get removed a while back. Hot stuff.
  21. why? because 3/4 of the music in Mujora's Mask is at least derivative of, if not exactly the same as the music from Ocarina of Time. That's a rather large exaggeration. Sure, you've got the tracks that weren't changed at all (Windmill Song) and the reprisal of the Zelda theme for the overworld, but the majority of the soundtrack is new material. Good stuff in there too. In any case, one (finally) passed the panel. Can't make out the source mixed, but it's there.
  22. Rose CAPCOM 1995 Rose’s appearance in Street Fighter Alpha is dictated by her as a representative for an unknown corporation, attempting to capture, contain or destroy villain M. Bison. It appears that they have some sort of connection between them as she participates as part of the Alpha Warriors. Brandishing her tarot cards and a mysterious scarf she can wield to damage opponents, Rose’s character is one of spiritual balance. Inner strength built during fights allows Rose to use telepathic powers against her opponent, such as the projectile Soul Spark or absorption technique of Soul Reflect. The latter would add to her super meter if not hit back. A quick playing style that takes full advantage of the new Alpha engine (being a debut character) are combined with short ranged air and ground attacks. Rose opposes abusal of power. Her desire to challenge and stop M. Bison from his tyranny is in her belief that the heavens will strike down on whoever wields the mystic power without good intentions. Throughout the Alpha series the link between Rose and her enemy is revealed... 23. Watch me go back on my personal promise. The bolded characters can be linked to their respective bios. Gen CAPCOM 1987 Gen is a fighting legend. One of the original Street Fighter lineup, the master is a representative of China. In order to become world champion, the player, as Ryu or Ken, must defeat Gen on the way to victory. His deadly art includes many Kung Fu fighting styles, such as Mantis, Crane, Bear, and Tiger. As a fighting legend in Hong Kong, Gen believes that there are other people worthy of challenging him, and sets his mind to find such opponents. While many younger talents seek him to uncover his style, he rejects many of them of being lacking in true fighting skill. It is only that when he finds great potential that he sets his mind to teach his secrets. In the Street Fighter Alpha series, Gen searches for the ultimate opponent to fight to the death. The mighty name of Akuma rings through his mind as he vows to seek him out. First playable in the Alpha sequel, Gen is notable in being the only character with the ability to change fighting styles mid round. Quote: “You did not have the potential to retire me. What a shame...” Source: Gen Wikipedia Page Street Fighter Legends Games that Gen has appeared in: ARCADE Street Fighter (1987) PLAYSTATION Street Fighter Alpha II (1996) Street Fighter Alpha III (1998) Also, Karin plz.
  24. ^Whoa, wasn't expecting Oblivion.
  25. I'm interested to see how such decisions hurt Sony, if at all. They have got the market eating out of their hand.
