  1. Why try to financially rape just one city or town, when you can go after the whole damn lot of them?
  2. I think I understand it RD, but why derail the thread any further? Now where did I put that OCR member rhyme poem...
  3. This isn't a "Wait, was I the only one who saw that?", but rather a "Wait, was I the only one who heard that?" moment. Playing Sega Touring Car Championship on the Saturn ages ago, one of the music tracks that gets played uses a phrase that caused me to stop playing because the game had a rating of "E". I've looked it up, and in the deep, dark corners of the Web, I found a site that said the shouted lyrics were "Are you stuck in the wake out there?", followed by a big crowd cheering. However, no matter how many times I've heard it, I hear "Are you fuckin' awake out there?!", followed by the big cheering crowd (which also makes more sense aurally).
  4. "He said the secret woid, and a mod came down to give him something other than fifty dollars."
  5. I missed out on the early days of the Internet, and so didn't have to deal with download caps, and overage fees. The fact that history looks to be getting ready to repeat itself, does not amuse me in the least.
  6. Around here, it seems like the Wii has the upper hand, with the 360 running a close second. On another site I visit, the 360 is definitely getting more play time than the Wii or PS3. But from what I've been reading in places, the overall consensus seems to be that people are waiting for more from the PS3, wondering if the 360 will ever be free of system killing defects, and hoping the Wii will get more titles that aren't so "casual gamer" and Nintendo fanboy centric. It's all irrelevant to me though, as I don't own any current gen systems
  7. You have no idea, TB. People still use "M$" for God's sake. And what's up Wideruled? Long time no see

  9. Again with this?
  10. I do? Wait... YES! I DO!

    ... I think.

  11. I use Image Ready. I find it to be more intuitive than GIMP, Fireworks and so forth.

  13. Maybe it raped his father and killed his mother.
  14. ... Am I seeing a ghost?
  15. Thanks for the comment on Wounds of the Past. Regarding a co-op, as much as it makes me sound like a control freak, I prefer to work on my remixes myself. I'm all for feedback and everything, but when it comes to actually working on them, I keep it "in house" as it were (for better or for worse). I do appreciate the offer though. If you're interested, I have an updated version of Bio Tech (v3, less reverb-laden and distant, a bit louder, a few other tweaks), as well as some other, newer remixes on my site (click my sig). I intend to put up similarly tweaked versions of "Wounds" and "Fallen's" as well at some point in the not too distant future.
  16. Another set for consideration... In order... Galaxian 1, Galaxian 2, Galaxian 3, Galaxian 4, Ship, Galaxian 1 Attacking, Galaxian 2 Attacking, Galaxian 3 Attacking, Galaxian 4 Attacking LT: Ship's too small, but if you zoom in on it, we can roll with that. Added the first half of the enemies/convoys. No need to add the enemies in charger form. Thanks!
  17. Ah, Geocities. The old ".txt" trick for sigs was such a wonder to people. A simple trick that allowed you to have a sig image, and bypass Geocities and their no linking policy. Shame they eventually caught on to what was being done.
  18. http://thecoop.110mb.com/dhalloweendjp.html Just take the first frame of the image, and there's the finished static version.
  19. I'm still waiting for someone to post UnMod South Park Vol. 2.
  20. Action RPG generally refers to games like Zelda, Beyond Oasis and Landstalker. In Shining Tears, you walk around various battle fields attacking enemies and bosses in real time with your sword and magic, and do it all in an isometric view perspective. However, you also upgrade your weapons, armor, stats, and so forth like you would in an RPG. There are a lot of story elements as well, with plenty of dialogue. And when you consider that the game has something like eight endings depending on which partner you spend the most time playing the game with, it's got plenty of replay value to go with the 20-40 hours it takes to play through once.
  21. I'd love to join up, but I already know I won't be able to meet the desired standards for this project.
