  1. Hey everyone! The Rito Village arrangement I made has now been put into a Video and uploaded to YouTube! Please enjoy!
  2. Instead of Creating a new thread for every mix, I'll take a page out of Eluukkanen's book (and all who've done this before them) and start posting remixes to a single thread...instead of making a new thread everytime. So here we have a Samurai Shodown remix this time around that do hope you all enjoy.
  3. Hello! Here's my remix of MegaMan Zero 2's "Departure". Although I've been a HUGE Mega Man X/Zero/ZX fan, I never created a remix of one of a tracks of any of the series (I only did "inspired by" tracks so far) and I'm glad I finally had the inspiration to create a remix. Like my Turrican remixes, I tried to orientate the remix very close on the orignal while trying to uplift it with "modern capabilities", it's not as good as the official remix but I'm very happy with the outcome. Anyway, here's the track and I hope you like it!
  4. Yo! I just updated my mix on this orchestral version and uploaded it on YouTube. Thought about sharing it with you :)! Original song:
  5. Was fun! Gauntlet Dark Legacy is my favorite ost. But, I realized I never actually listened to the original before. So, I tried to do a kinda fusion of the two styles into the title theme. Any excuse to put people screaming and random bat noises into a track I guess
  6. A tiny little minimalist house arrangement of 'Factory Tour' from Kirby 64. Had fun making this, thought I'd share.
  7. Hey guys! This is an arrangement of the Rainbow Road themes from Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 7. I wanted to keep some of the percussion for forward momentum and rhythm while making the pieces more Orchestral, and I think I did OK here. Made with Sibelius/NotePerformer. Disclaimer: Original music by Kenta Nagata, Ryo Nagamatsu and Koji Kondo.
  8. Hey everyone! Here is a newly uploaded video of another arrangement I've made - A Secret of Mana Fantasia for full Orchestra taken from the Secret of Mana/Seiken Densetsu Soundtrack by Hiroki Kikuta. Secret of Mana was originally made for the SNES but has since enjoyed a remake. The music in this Fantasia include "Fear of the Heavens", "Into the thick of things", "a Wish", and "Fly into the Unknown". The pieces linked very well together in order to contrast the many atmospheres and emotions the game has in the course of the adventures it holds. Disclaimer: Original music is by Hiroki Kikuta, visuals are screenshots of in-game footage and artwork.
  9. Yeah, another game remix! This time a older childhood fav game "Fury3" that was released by Microsoft in 1995. The soundtrack is really awesome. Enjoy the first mission, planet terran in a new version:)
  10. Doom metal remix of Golbez theme "Clad In Darkness" and the "Cry In Sorrow" theme from Final Fantasy IV https://soundcloud.com/dremorachurl/deepest-night
  11. Hello folks. I published new version of this cool theme from Undertale. I made some some changes to the previous orchestral version, adding piano, a little bit improved mixing and so on. Here is the original:
  12. Hey guys! I hope you’re doing well. Lately all my friends have been playing Animal Crossing, so I decided to cover k.k. Cruising with a bit of drum n’ bass and salsa thrown in for good measure hope you enjoy! KK Cruisin' - Animal Crossing (Jazz Fusion Cover) | The Geeky Guitarist
  13. I made this orchestral remake of the ruins level (Birabuto kingdom) from the classic gameboy game Super Mario Land. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LgxGAGI8qY
  14. Got an improved version up here. Removed artifacts. Couldn't get the speech synths back. Seems the program isn't in the newest version of FL20. Not really worried about that though.
  15. Hi Everyone! Here's the newest piece I've arranged: The "Dire, Dire Docks/Jolly Roger Bay" Music from Super Mario 64 by Koji Kondo/Kazumi Totaka. This music accompanies two of the many levels in Super Mario 64, and is one of the more popular pieces of the game's Soundtrack; ideal material for an arrangement! In this piece, I attempted to exploit the slow nature of the music and its melodies, and try to harness the power of the music in the latter half of the piece to reflect the power of the Sea! Disclaimer - Original music is by Koji Kondo. Visuals are original in-game footage.
  16. Touhou 15 - Stage 5 Boss Theme (Clownpiece - Pierrot of the Star-Spangled Banner) This is very cool theme from Touhou Project. I made my own guitar version for it. Features some synth and strings too. Here is the original:
  17. I've only ever dabbled in doing music and remixing and figured with all the COVID and quarantine stuff it would a good time to put actual effort into learning. This is the first thing I've managed to complete start to finish! Feedback is appreciated
  18. I used the original composition and re-orchestrated it from the ground up with strings and Celtic instruments. Celtic instruments are from the Celtic Era virtual instrument library. A very sad song and a fan favorite. I would have loved to see this track done by Kenji Ito on Final Fantasy IV - Celtic Moon. My version is a fan made remix.
  19. I have been itching to work on another arrangement for what feels like an eternity, thankfully now that I'm finishing up with Uni I've finally had the time! Here's an orchestral arrangement of the opening music to Undertale; Once Upon a Time. The samples used are predominately from Spitfire's BBCSO, as well as Heavyocity's Forzo for brass, VI Labs Ravenscroft 275 Piano, Spitfire LABS music box, and for percussion I used a mix of Albion One and HZ Percussion. I'd love to know what you think and of course any critique is always welcome
  20. Hey guys! This is an arrangement for Piano of "Zanarkand" from Final Fantasy X by Nobuo Uematsu. Another meditative/contemplative piece, I wanted to keep the simplicity of the original in the first half, but then, decided to explore some emotional effect in the second rendition of the piece with a cross-rhythm in the left hand. Disclaimer: Original music is by Nobuo Uematsu, visuals are in-game footage.
  21. About the remix: This is a remix of "Quiet and Falling" from Celeste. It's the song from the Mirror Temple. I had a lot of fun doing this one! The original is pretty cold and surreal, the B-side is downright funky, so I decided to take this in a direction different to the songs in the game. I also brought back an old pseudonym for the remix. FL Studio 20 was used for both the song and the visualization on YouTube (via ZGameEditor Visualizer.) I incorporated a lot of "found sounds" - metal sheets, keys on a desk, all sorts of fun improvised percussion. The synthwork is Sytrus and Vanguard. The orchestral sounds came from Nexus. Is it a good candidate? Thanks for listening~
