Ginnsu Posted May 21, 2002 Posted May 21, 2002 Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 'Town Music (Busy Life)' Oh Hazama, Hazama, Hazama. What am I ever going to do with you? Hazama really puts the quark in music. This mix is a real smooth soft drum beat with a cute little piano tune, but that’s not the real treat here. It's Hazama’s adorable (sorry, that’s the only word I could come up with to describe it) little voice as he rhymes to describe the life of a Hyrulian. And in response to Hazama’s comment on this mix , "I don’t think we can do anything but love you, Hazama. Keep on rhyming." Quote
Captain Red Posted July 6, 2002 Posted July 6, 2002 Kind of a short musical snapshot of a personality from the game... I'd love to see more like it... Great track. Love the Hyru-uuuule! Quote
Lakilelet Posted August 17, 2002 Posted August 17, 2002 Like all lyricals, this one is dangerous. However, it's good enough I recommend it on the latest Alvin and the Chipmunks album. I can tell the lyrics were made within a couple minutes or less. This baby runs pretty cool, considering it's from the number 2 best melody from the Zelda series ... okay, maybe 3 after the temple in Zelda 2 ... Good for Grabs. Quote
Nano Posted September 30, 2002 Posted September 30, 2002 this remix is.... grrrreat fun for everyone. Hazama this song made me laugh, it's a great mix of nostalgic blissful gaming tunes and at the same time some humorous voices. Keep up the good work man, and bring out some new remixes already, your killing me! Quote
TFXultimaTFX Posted February 18, 2003 Posted February 18, 2003 hahaha i'm luvin it..just pimpin' maan!!!! Quote
DistantJ Posted February 24, 2003 Posted February 24, 2003 Funny stuff! It's good when people don't take their remixes too seriously. Only an 800k download for a short but sweet little bit of comedy. I like! Quote
PassivePretentiousness Posted February 24, 2003 Posted February 24, 2003 I laugh at really dumb things, but I wasn't overly impressed with this. The vocals have some novelty the first time through and there's nothing really wrong with the rest of the instruments, but this remix fails really to do anything. Still, it's not that annoying, and I see everyone else enjoying it. 3/8. Quote
Tidus Of Spira Posted March 9, 2003 Posted March 9, 2003 I'd love to see more like it... And, personally, I'd love to see less of it. There was something to this mix that made me cringe. It was horrible, for me at least. The worst remix I have ever heard, actually. Not that it doesn't have one redeeming quality: a nice BACKGROUND theme. But that voice actually just puts the the whole theme through the shredder, or worse, down the toilet. If this was made for funny-only purposes, make my score a 6.9/10. But until then I know for sure... Final verdict... MY SCORE-- 2.7/10 Quote
the warlock Posted April 28, 2003 Posted April 28, 2003 I really like this. I have had this mix quite some time though its only now im beginning to see its appeal. I wish Hazama would of made it longer and thats my only critisism as the lyrics just add to the exceptional value of this ReMix. Top work Hazama. Quote
Biggoron Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Sorry for this review... I usually try not to review songs that I honestly didn't like but I had to make an exception here. I downloaded this song and I really liked it at first... but then the vocals came in and ruined the entire thing. I really, really like the Kakariko theme and that's what I thought that whole remix was of... until the vocals came in. Alright, so you should know by now that I didn't like the vocals. Hehe, sorry. I know this song was trying to be funny (I hope) but I didn't catch the humor in it. This song didn't catch my interest at all. But good try. Sorry for the review, once again. I'm not trying to bash this remix but I just wanted to voice my opinion. Quote
m68030 Posted May 7, 2004 Posted May 7, 2004 One of the most wonderful this about this quirky little remix is the fact that Haz never actually submitted it, as far as I know... If memory serves me correctly, Haz posted it on the old old forums and DJP thought it was cute, thought it was a submittion, and subsequently posted it. Quote
fetusboy Posted May 7, 2004 Posted May 7, 2004 Butthead: Thith thuckth, Beavith! Beavis: HE HE...HE HE...Yeah! HE HE...HE HEEE.....sucks...HE HE....HE...HE. Change it! Quote
Kebis Posted July 24, 2004 Posted July 24, 2004 A short song, but I'm still laughing <--- Like this guy, except I have hair. Why does Hazama only have three songs here?!? Quote
Viceroy Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 A great little remix, just wish it was a bit longer and I wish the lyrics were perfectly understandable. I am not sure if anyone had much trouble understanding all the lyrics but I did. The selection for the instruments is a very good choice Quote
jordex Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 haha i liked this one although it was bit short but the vocals were great, i played it to my bros n they were like 'wtf'? they didnt exactly say that but you know but its good! Quote
Protricity Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 This is why we have a judge panel. Quote
PancakeHero Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 Good mix....the voice....kinda scared me. Quote
STeel Demonz Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 Very creepy voice. Sounded like an old hag drank some helium and started singing. I don't like it very much. Quote
Hazama Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 This is why we have a judge panel. Protricity. Ok... did you know this song was never actually submitted? DJPretzel posted it on his own whim... and I think it's awesome that he did. I really don't care if you hate this song... but before you go bashing it, just take a step back and realize that it's people like you who've kept me from writing anything new in the last four years. Suikoden II was my swan song, and that's that. Love it or hate it, it's here to stay. --- Haz Quote
blunai Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 I liked the piano and drums, very soothing to listen to... but then the voice kicks in and I was frightened. Hazama's best is still the Pop Up song, I'll never get rid of that one! Quote
Gate Jumper Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 Im not to shure about the voice but I like the backround. Hazama: PLEASE NOTE work on your high notes. Quote
maestermatt Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Love the voice work it feels like it relates to me. Quote
