Darklink42 Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 You've all seen my tiles for the OCR tile project, if not: http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=19642 but here's some other stuff I've done: Art was by another guy, I did the coloring. He also did his own coloring later with shading, which looked cool. I still need to do the shading someday. Done with photoshop. Did this one for the "Who's Kirby been eating?" thread way back when. Did this one in pencil first, then photoshop for the color. I made this for a Steampunk costume party, it still needs to be finished. Quote
Harmonious Dissonance Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 It totally counts. I know someone who makes actual pictures out of lego blocks. I can't seem to find a photo, however. Like so? Also, Do my data edits count? Quote
Darklink42 Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 Rough sketch for a postcard art. Ended up doing in colored pencil, but I stupidly forgot to get a picture of it before it got sent off. Quote
Tydin Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Did this from scratch for RPGmaker. Ah I remember those days!! Use to love making custom sprites, I worked only in RPG Maker 2003 though so I was limited, but I made the most out of what I could. Kinda wish I didn't see this cause now I wanna jump back into where I left off lol. Quote
The Author Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 http://img263.imageshack.us/g/reflectionv.gif/ Some of my old pictures... I have about 300 taken with my Rebel 2000, maybe 100 I wouldn't mind sharing if it weren't for the whole scanning process. Nowadays when I see digital cameras , I realize that if I had saved the money spent on film, I could get a nice digital rebel, but the truth is, I'm kinda glad I cut my chops on a film camera. You don't get 1000 tries, only 24 pictures so you kinda have to make it count. Kinda sad I didn't get any darkroom experience though. Anyway, working with film for a while means that when I get a digital camera, I take much better pictures than I would without the experience. Such as: Which was just a quick snapshot to show the freak snowstorm from last Wednesday. Quote
Archaon Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 hah this is excellent Not to derail the thread or anything, but if you enjoyed that then you might also appreciate the corollary. Quote
The Author Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Uploaded some of the pictures I took with my friend's powershot last fall during a road trip. All of these were taken in a moving jeep, I'm kinda proud of how well some of them came out: http://img714.imageshack.us/g/img1130z.jpg/ Quote

Darklink42 Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 End of the year painting project for stage crafting class. The drapes didn't turn out how I expected, but I like the window sill and the outside. For perspective, the piece of plywood I was painting on was about 5'6" Quote
Broadcast Bowsette Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 I could post pictures of fanart done for me, but it tends to involve a lot of breastflesh and last I checked people around these parts hate that. <3 Quote

DragnBreth Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 I'm likin' this thread. Some cool artwork. I do a bit of art every once in a while. Took art throughout highschool (instead of learning to drive... *palmface*). My last project for my last art class in highschool. Don't quite remember the specifics of the project, but it had something to do with picking your favorite art style and tying in little bits about yourself. I chose surrealism/comic book style. Quote
DragnBreth Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 I take it you're refering to the caffiene molecule? Not in large enough quantities for it to have that effect, no, lol. Quote
entropicdecay Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Li'l drawing I did DEFINITELY NOT UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MDMA no siree. Quote
Monobrow Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 This was a WIP thingy I was doing to possibly give to OA for his project, but decided against after a while (and basically moving across the country and being MIA for a few months) I may finish it sometime just because it was coming together nicely. I went through about 30 photos of children for reference. Quote
IrateResearchers Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 gets a tad sloppy under the window bar. Quote
JH Sounds Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Still no scanner, but here's another old thing I drew. Quote
Darklink42 Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 The Tile project The last thing I worked on. I plan to do more sporadically, just because of how enjoyable they are to make. Quote
