Jason Covenant Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 I don't usually care for guitar type mixes. But hey, what can I say? I really like this one. It is one of my favorite tracks from KiC. Quote
Protricity Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 I love thrased metal. This song is very thrasing. Good job snapplefag on the thras-aspect of this thrasing song. Quote
suzumebachi Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 looks like i weren't the only one liqour'd up last night. nice write-up dave. this song is pretty cool. what with the guitars and the awesome 3 note solo in the middle (i'm just fuckin with ya snappleman). good guitar playing, excellent mastering and such, and such. you can download it now. i'm through. i need to sober up a bit more before i do any more reviews Quote
Tex Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 About the start I thought that Forest Remix. Later I perceived that it was the King K.Roll Theme. in 01:49, a notable appears Arab instrument. It was a good moment. I did not wait an Arab instrument. Very pleasant... ...To ears. Quote
Shhteve Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Very catchy beatline, for one thing. It got me bopping my head after a bit of listening. I vaguely remember the original tune, but it's coming back to me. Nice track. Quote
Mogrothir Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Always was my favorite of Kong in Concert, and I can say nothing wrong about it. It just rocks really hard, and for that, I dig it to no end. I can't analyze it because I'm stupid and inept, but I do present my kudos to the board. Quote
DJ Riott Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 This Kong in Concert has really proved to be a worthy Music Project. This great (and one of the best) tracks from the project really does a great job of rockin out! The review has very good points about the cleanliness of the song and its high amounts of energy. This is a great edtition to anyones music collection. Wonderful Work! Quote
Majin GeoDooD Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 Now this is a guitar remix, unlike that cruddy Ken Song. Quote
kablammyman Posted November 27, 2004 Posted November 27, 2004 i like this mix. The guitars are well done. I dont think it could be done well without them (seeing how the original had them in a similare fashion) Quote
greenyoshieggz Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Awesome stuff by Snappleman. Another mix that couldn't have been achieved without raw talent. Excellent work! Quote
the_mayor Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 this was definately one of the best tracks on kic. all i can say is when can we expect another submision Quote
Zenek Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 My ersonal favorite remix, ever! keep up the excellent work! Quote
Luigi-waluigi Posted May 24, 2005 Posted May 24, 2005 awsome song. I love this song. the original is good. good job. Quote
Nintendonien Posted May 29, 2005 Posted May 29, 2005 A very well done remix it really gets in to the spirite of remixing as well as rock ..........now where did that old gitar go???? Quote
Krythan Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 Yeah, this does need more love! The original song from DKC was great, but I gotta say that the remix is even better. Quote
Bummer Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 I don´t know what´s the best with this remix. Is it the guitars that totally kicks ass doing solos non-stop during the whole mix, or is it the drums that´s one of the best I´ve ever heard? Decisions, decisions, and.........oh, yeah, decisions. Let´s just say they´re both equal. Another good thing is that this mix almost never do the same thing twice, its always trying new things so that we don´t, no, CANNOT become bored. Those pauses at 1:32 were great dude! Those who likes the arts of Rock´n Roll better download this, it´s a blast. For those who wonders why this mix have a piano intro, this remix is combined with Dhsu´s "Pirate Prelude" in the Kong Concert, so those who want the complete track better go there. Quote
Zekian Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 This is exactly the kind of music that I love. Bravo. Quote
SilentShout Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 The remix is pretty good. Kudos to SnappleMan. Although Donkey Kong isnt one of my favorites, I'd have to say this is good. VERY good. Quote
Magnum_Thunder Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Shazaam. That's how this mix was made from scratch. Finally, a mixer that realizes that DKC was about the drums, and K.Rool was about the rock. The awsome guitar phrases throughout the mix was downright hard and the drums were non-stop. I only wish that there would have been a stronger or louder, something to catch the attention of the listener in the beginning so as to almost force them to listen to the whole thing. Otherwise, a rockin' mix that is a must for any person, no matter what your style of rock. Final Grade: 9 out of 10 Quote
