You declare it when you submit. Submissions rules are all the same, you still have to put the artist information and all of that. I'm just saying that I don't need anyone to pop in and say "I'm remixing this week" because I don't actually keep track of any of that while the round is progressing.

Is everyone this block going to get to remix a Stardroid, or are the Stardroids only this round and the theme will change again next round? Just curious!

And thanks for all the kind words on my mix last week everyone! I'm glad everyone liked it! I'm really happy to have gotten the first place vote! :)

I'll set up a punchline for whoever wants it:

Pump Man + Uranus = ???

:)

I had a feeling that one was coming, I just didn't know when.

Lately there've been a lot of questions from a number of teams about team members being able to pick up the slack for their primary artist. Moving forward in the competition, I'd like to relax the restrictions a little bit. While there should still be a primary artist who is conceptualizing the arrangement and doing most of the work (sequencing/performance/production/etc.), if certain circumstances come up that require team members to step in in order to deliver a finished piece, that's fine.

Fun fact #1: The lyric about the "magic key" was inspired by Jivemaster's lyric about magic keys in his round 1 song.

Fun fact #2: The voice clip at the end (Two more rounds, no wincing, no whining!) was Nicolas Cage in the movie Kick-Ass, when he is shooting Hit Girl at the beginning.
