Hal_Emmerich
I'd like to give this a shot, if you don't mind an amateur trying. I'd like to go with Dark King from Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.
Kanjika
I'd like to give this a shot, if you don't mind an amateur trying.I'd like to go with Dark King from Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. Alright. Send me and Pi some of your work and we will discuss.
Hal_Emmerich
Well, like I said, Amateur hour I've only really done one piece, rather, am working on one piece. www.stfx.ca/people/x2004/x2004cja/KTower.mp3 From what people are telling me, the arrangement is solid, but the sound quality is low
Theory of N
I think it would be cool to join a project and all but there are a few things holding me back atm. First: I'm only using the demo version of FL6 as I don't have enough money to buy a full version yet. Meaning that I can't save project files so I can't start a new project w/o finishing the one I'm already working on. And I'm working on something atm. (excuse the run-on explanations) Second: I don't know if I'd be up to par. I just started remixing, submitted one I wish I could redo (can't because the flp wasn't saved...goes back to the first reason) and finished another (It still needs some work), But as you can see, I'm lacking in the experience department. Third: I don't know the music for any of the avaliable bosses up there. But we may be able to work things out, if you want me on it. Here's some links to my work. FFXI - New Adventurer(The one I wish I could redo): http://www.mediafire.com/?dzkzd4t1omv Wii Sports - Wiitastic(completed, still needs some work): http://www.mediafire.com/?dy0zwmbwjmm Zelda 64: OoT - Bolero of Fire(no good name yet, Current wip): http://www.mediafire.com/?8ymlyd2azaz Hopefully, all these links are updated. Like I said, still an amateur, but pm me if you like for more information or whatever it is you need. Thanks! ToN
Pi_R_Squared
Wow. Inactivity, take a backseat for a while! First, let me point out that Newcomer 'Bren' has been added for K. Rool. I just kept forgetting to put him on, is all, but we've spoken over the past week or so. Now, these new guys, what to do, what to do... Hal 9000:I don't see why not. Kanjika, agree? Actually, I should be asking Anorak, too. Agree? (Insert clever parody here): Remix the Serenade of Water, and get back to me. ...No, actually, they weren't too bad (although I do love the Serenade of Water.). I'll have to turn to my peers here. I like the whole 2/3'ds thing. I guess having three managers helps. Kinda. At least you two have mixes in progress. You've perhaps noticed that things have been slow around here lately? Don't disappoint, yeah? And ToN, let me point something out. I plan on getting someone to master these tracks, with better samples and everything, so demoFL=OK. Wait, what? Are you telling me you have FL running 24/7 till you finish a track?!? wtf?
Theory of N
lol yeah. I'm kinda broke atm so I can't afford the full version. I've been very lucky that I've even gotten this far w/ demo FL. But I can't NOT write/compose/mix/generally make music just because I can't save projects. It's like trying to play FFVII w/o a memory card. It's difficult, but possible

Jimmy Jazz
It's like trying to play FFVII w/o a memory card. It's difficult, but possible Wait, don't you have to save the game before you move onto the next disc?
Fishy
You don't have to, it just gives you the option. Ps1 has a small memory cache for remembering wtf is going on when you open the disc cover I think. In some games you can open it and shut it (ie mid battle during FF7 is a trick for abusing regen for a full heal) and it will *hopefullY* continue normally.
Jimmy Jazz
wow. I wish dreamcast had that. That way I could complete shenmue.
Abadoss
I just bought Finale 2007 ($350 for the academic version), so I'll have that LeChuck up soon.
ShinnyMetal
OMGT..I am such a procrastinator *chuckles* ..i'll have a wip done in time..I've just been working on like...3 songs simultaniously for class...I'll start tomarrow...hopefully
avaris
An ur gilgamesh song. Uh update on my song...ummmm...yeah...! I'm redoeing the entire soundscape. A few composition areas will be changed. Nothing major. But I'll be redoeing the entire song in Reason. Also with what I am gonna do now I don't the guitar, but it would still kick ass if it was in there. So it's all up to Tensei wether or not it has guitar in it...i hope it does. Frankly u'll get a much better song outta me if I do an electronic mix rather than rock.
Chickenwarlord
I just bought Finale 2007 ($350 for the academic version), so I'll have that LeChuck up soon. Abadoss is doing LeChuck? Excellent! Now if I could rope somebody into doing Hector LeMans.

Pavos
Hey Pi, how many artists do you need? KCool is willing to help us out, but there are more that are willing to lend their abilities. Perhaps you could make a better overview what exactly has to be done and we could divide it between different artists?
Pi_R_Squared
Priority is Album Art (covered, mostly), followed by website, wallpaper/misc., followed by extra/bonus. ...Optimistically. Sure, we could devide it between artists, but its all about flow. Example: Th album art and website should be stylistically similar, but different styles for most of the other stuff could be encouraged. "but there are more that are willing to lend their abilities" ...others you say? Why, has anyone volunteered or anything?
The Joker
I could do some album art.
avaris
big update on my mix, it's still rough around the edges but you'll def get the picture of where I want this to go when u listen to it.
Pavos
Well you DID give me the names of 4 people and one of them knows OCR very well and wants to join aswell. KCool was first however, but I think having multiple artist couldn't hurt. What's your opinion on this? EDIT: Never mind, I invited XCBDH aswell, he was very enthousiastic. So hereby, welcome XCBDH

Spunodi
Yo! I will have an update b4 the deadline (or dead on it!) however... The first WIP I submitted for deadline was a dancey version of E.G.G.M.A.N (Instrumental.) I recall being told I need to work on the style and make it fit in. Now, electronica was encouraged (as was rock and orchestral etc.) from the outset - So, what 'feel' is this project after? I remember great boss and evil guy themes mainly through energy and urgency with a bleak vibe, maybe a flicker of hope. That's what I'm aiming for. Should I change my aim?
leepmeister
I'm not dead, btw. Just amazingly over-project-ed with school for the past 6 weeks. Anyway, I might have more time now. Maybe.
Sole Signal
I'm still looking to contribute to this, but I'm sorry to say that there is no way I'll make the 24th deadline. Over spring break I should have some time, which is the first week or so of March.
Anorak
Long weekend catch-up... Yo!I will have an update b4 the deadline (or dead on it!) however... Well, I did not hear your first WIP (I wasn't a coordinator then), so I don't want to pass judgment on something I haven't heard. But that whole energy, urgency quote is correct, so if your track is following that guideline, it should be alright. Just post what you have when you're ready; I don't want you to go changing your track around just a few days before the deadline. I'm not dead, btw. Just amazingly over-project-ed with school for the past 6 weeks. Anyway, I might have more time now. Maybe. Always good to hear that our buds aren't deceased. Did you decide if you were going to give another track a shot? I'm still looking to contribute to this, but I'm sorry to say that there is no way I'll make the 24th deadline. Over spring break I should have some time, which is the first week or so of March. That's alright, thank you for letting us know. Get it in as soon as you have the time. Also, we only have three empty spots left on the main tracklist? Nice. Unless you want to sign up, of course! Then it's bad! For you! i c wut i did ther.
