Sir_NutS
Don't know if this has been posted here already but http://www.gamesarefun.com/news.php?newsid=7405 holy crap, the Top 15 games in japan for last month were nintendo games, and out of the top 30 there were 24 nintendo games in the list. Nintendo's dominance in japan is jaw dropping.

Soma
A little late to the party but I just beat the main story in Elebits. Was anyone else annoyed that some of the later levels just turned into "Grab homing power-up and click as fast as you can"? That aside, the first 10 level or so and all of the boss battles were great. Really shows what the Wiimote is capable of. I'm only on the 5th stage or something like that. But elebits seriously hurts my hand from pressing A or B too much. I can only play it for about 20 mins til i'm sick of it.

CE
Not to mention hilarious. And hard. Oh man, that announcer's voice? Fucking hilarious! *in super calm, slow, relaxing voice* "The Chauffer. Turn the Form Baton sideways and wrap your hands around both ends. As the Form Baton turns, so to does the Earth, and all upon it. From liver to liveryman." or "The Umbrella. Hold the Form Baton vertically, thumb resting lightly on the button. Through this stance, you channel the quiet dignity of a circus clown in the midst of a thunderstorm." Best Warioware ever. Sag Ee Mana
Oh man, that announcer's voice? Fucking hilarious!*in super calm, slow, relaxing voice* "The Chauffer. Excellent ! I must say that the french version is also well translated, and the voices are nice to hear. (at least one well translated game in France xD) I'm an addict of Wario Ware 1, Touched AND Twisted, and I have to say that this one is really easy. I've finished in a row all the towers (where you have to play random games) easily. I'm unlocking the last mini-game for now, and I've ony played two nights (5 h each one). In these 10 hours you can count maybe TWO hours with the really good game that reminds tetris. But this game is really AWESOME anyway. The wiimote is really well used, and 98% of the time, it's natural to play. One funny thing : the katana game is better in wario than in Red Steel... And the games you have to unlock are... well, if you're Nintendo fan, you'll be happy ! It's a Wii ! Wariooooooo !!!! [EDIT : got all the stuff]
Penfold
Damn, thanks to the bit of snow Seattle got last night, the delivery truck got delayed for the Gamestop I most often go to, so no WarioWare: Smooth Moves for me today. Ah well, it'll certainly be in tomorrow, so not really a big deal.
Kitsuta
Oh my god.. talk about sensationalistic journalism.Short story: some reporter is saying that kids will download porn on their Wii. I have to wonder how many of these sorts of stories are in some way started or backed by the target system's competition... Throw a few bucks towards a couple of PTAs or groups, and mention how easy it is for kids to do something "bad" on the other guys hardware. Considering some of the shit that went down in the last few year, I wouldn't be surprised if it were true. I lol'd.

Fire in the Hole
You'd think we'd have heard some more news about MP3 or SSBB by now. I really want to hear a March or April release date for MP3 and another new character for SSBB. Not to mention BWii and Mario Galaxy... The Damned
I suspect that Nintendo is going to release them carefully, at points such that the games will cover any major gaps in new releases. It makes more sense that way. Also, I'd rather have several good games stretched out over a longer time than all at once.

Considering some of the shit that went down in the last few year, I wouldn't be surprised if it were true. Wow. I've only taken a high school course in journalism, and reflexive defending of video games aside, I can tell you that entire 2-minute segment was perhaps a perfect example of bad journalism. There was no defense from Sony or Nintendo (such as how the Wii's parental controls IN FACT completely block internet access.) As well, scroll down a little bit on Kotaku's website (link)--comments on one of their news articles were used as sources--not only were they both side-by-side, but they were completely misquoted. -1 for Dallas-Fort Worth area unfortunately subjected to that station. Unstable Hamster
Oh my gooseness, Wario Ware is so good. Dang, I wish I grabbed it today. Luckily, I do have a preorder on it, and will soon be playing it. I also had a Wii error of 220602, I changed a few things on my router settings and I think I fixed it, but I haven't had time to check with my brother playing Zelda. defender!!
anyone else a little underwhelmed by WarioWare? i think it's good and all, but i really wish you didn't have to pass around the remote and just let everyone have their own. i also wish there was more content. the multiplayer games in the GCN version were incredibly innovative (especially the doctor one), this one doesn't have any of that. honestly, my friend and i put it in for about an hour and a half, then switched to the new dragonball game (which is actually really really really good)
KWarp
My controllers had connecting problems for the first time today. Resolved itself somehow. Probably won't pick up Warioware until next month when I get through my game backlog.
Rainman DX
I'm the only one I know that has bought a Wiimote retail and brought it home, only to find that the accelerometer didn't register - everything else worked just fine, and I even transferred some Miis on it, but the accelerometer just doesn't work. I was just curious if this was a common occurrence.
KakTheInfected
In Wario Ware, is there a way to keep playing the same mini-game over and over? I know you can access whatever game you want in the Temple of Form but it seems to kick you out after 3 plays...
I-n-j-i-n
Did you hear the one about a woman that died in a contest to get a Wii? The reason? She couldn't take a wee! That's a new cause of death: water intoxication. I'm amazed at how people are hurting themselves, pulling muscles, breaking legs and even DYING from the Wii. Amazing.
