Hi, there's a whole bunch of quality mixes on this site, some that are so good i dont even know how they were able to pull off the sounds/sequences that they did.

So, I definitely have a bunch of questions of my own of other remixes and their techniques, and i hope you guys do too! (btw this is a noob thread =( )

ok sooo, i have more questions, but to start, on "Barrel Roll" by PrototypeRaptor, at 0:45, the main sounds he's using, how the heck did he make that, i can barely distinguish what notes he's using or whatnot.

If you mean the big blaring noise that's just a pad that's been gated with some processing. If you mean the other thing I think that's just a very heavily processed piano, I don't hear anything as crazy as what you're describing. Am I missing something?
