  1. https://www.humblebundle.com Humble Indie Bundle 9 has Trine 2 (+expansion), Mark of the Ninja, Brütal Legend and the new Eets as a beta. Pay more than average (around $5) to get FTL and Fez. Now I can vouch that for FTL alone this is a deal among deals! Soundtracks too for Trine 2, Brütal Legend, FTL and Fez. HIBs are pretty much my main source for Linux gaming, so I always appreciate them. I'm looking forward to playing Fez especially! --Eino
  2. I for one won't be getting this album if it's only available through iTunes. I do think this is a cool thing happening! --Eino
  3. A bit late, but happy birthday to the one and only Dj Mokram! edit: Pretty neat trailer for the album! --Eino
  4. I'm actually pretty pleased that a Linux version will get made. Maybe it'll work on my rusty trusty old laptop! Probably won't be able to pledge during the KS, but I'm certainly looking forward to buying the game sooner than later. --Eino
  5. From a quick listen, sounds like a good update! Especially the organ (tasty sound there), and the strings at the end fill it out nicely. I'll try to give it a more thorough listen soonish and give more feedback. --Eino
  6. I really like the Ice Man theme too. I only now realized the loop is really, really short. edit: also, the Fire Man theme --Eino
  7. Pledged $5, I'm hoping others here can pledge a bit more and get the actual album download too. (: --Eino
  8. Seeing "happy birthday, death" is surreal.. but so be it! Happy birthday! --Eino
  9. These sound like good ideas; I thought the soundscape was a bit sparse (though what was there was pretty good), and also I was fully expecting the strings join in in the final part. (One thing about the sparseness, I thought that it was really screaming for vocals! screaminggeddit!?) Yes, that'd likely kick this up a level! --Eino
  10. I appreciate this version, I certainly wanted to hear a NES style version of the theme, nice work on making one so quickly! --Eino
  11. I have some feedback the next time then, I wrote some down but couldn't finish it in one sitting. Assuming the window keeps open long enough --Eino
  12. I'm enjoying this! To my standards production seems lush, balanced and solid. I like the NESsy snare. There's plenty of reinterpretation of the source in the arrangement as well. The structure seems sound and the piece flows well. The watery sound ideas don't push themselves but are more subtle, which I like. If you didn't point them out, I might not have noticed the theme, but would still have thought that the overall sound was very appropriate for Bubble Man. Really good stuff, definitely submit it to OCR once you're done! --Eino
  13. Well, couldn't hear any clashing with a closer listen. The production is indeed solid. Only crits I have would be that the leads that carry the source (say 0:52-01:17) tend to be quiet in comparison to beat+bass. But that might be genre appropriate. Towards 2:00 the other lead sounds brings it more to the fore nicely. Additionally, I thought the "I got the power" sample was funny and appropriate, but still a bit too cheesy (and familiar) to really enjoy. Overall good work, I really liked the energy of the beat+bass. --Eino
  14. Very solid stuff. The beat is dark, gritty, but also bouncy and fun. Lots of great sounds & atmospheres throughout the track & some stutterific sequencing. I like the past-midpoint changeup too - it shook up the track & boosted it with fresh energy! Refreshing to listen to! --Eino
  15. Your stuff always sounds so cool. Too bad I don't have Kontakt or Reason. $15 isn't bad for a fun-sounding library! --Eino
  16. That sounded quite cool on a quick listen. Nice variation on intensity between parts! Multitracking of the piano reminds me of some minimalist multi-piano pieces. I hope I can give this a closer listen soon. --Eino
  17. From a quick listen, sounds quite solid on production, and the track has nice flow & drive. It sounded like there was some weird clashing notes in a couple of places, but I'll need to give it another, closer listen to be sure. --Eino
  18. Ok, just tiny tiny tweaks. A candidate for resub here. Going to send this back to panel soon, so get those final comments in! (: edit: Resubmitted after tiny bit of filter automation changes to one particular lead, here's the MP3 and the Renoise project file. --Eino
  19. I'm required by the forum software to add text here, although it is quite unnecessary. --Eino
