  1. Don't forget to grab everything by po!. Also. Music of My Groin.
  2. I wonder why my old christian college didn't have a Bible Adventures class.
  3. So yeah. This guy has some nice music. You should check out the one where he's playing a double ocarina. Good stuff.
  4. I don't know if anyone's mentioned it yet, but Hawk from Seiken Densetsu 3 is pretty awesome, although by no means better than Ryu Hayabusa. Also, I hate this thread. So why am I posting in it?
  5. You know, if you're really wanting to give back to the site in non-monetary ways, you could always give song reviews and give people feedback on their Works-in-Progress. Evangelizing others to OCRdom and spreading the good news of the Preztel H. Christ will also gain you points for the videogame music remixing afterlife.
  6. Awesome. You'll more than likely be hearing from me within the coming months then.
  7. So is this for fun or profit? Or both? Right now, I'm in school for film making and such, and I'll probably have a handful of projects in the very near future that could use some tunes. However, the biggest issue is that I have next to no money whatsoever.
  8. What he said. I'd also add Darangen to that list, though not all of his stuff is hard rock.
  9. I used to have a script that automatically switched controls to my gamepad whenever I piloted a vehicle. I can't seem to find it anywhere now, and lord knows I am absolutely terrible at piloting with the mouse and keyboard. Anyone know where to find it?
  10. One of my film production teachers actually got to meet him back in the day when he was still doing stage plays. He said that "Sam Jackson is the kind of guy who would rather be in 6 bad productions than 1 good one. He's happiest when he always has work to do." Also, Snakes on a Plane was one of the greatest films of the 21st century.
  11. Unfortunately, it's not hand painted. I'm not that good . I used a nifty little program called ArtRage... it was still a lot of work though.
  12. http://www.brawlinthefamily.com/comic013.html roffle. I can't remember if I posted my Jason/Kirby in the last thread or not. Here it is again anyway.
  13. Order a pizza, and put a bear trap in front of your door. As soon as the delivery boy rings your doorbell, you've got yourself a drummer. But seriously. I'd recommend putting some kind of advertisement up on a few bulletin boards and see what you come up with. The trick is meeting as many musicians as you can. Reliability is even more important than skill, and it can be a hard trait to find, especially with drummers IMO. Also, keep practicing and getting better at the piano. The better a musician you are, the more people will want to play with you.
  14. The worst part about this is Kristen Kruek. I can deal with poor scripts, variations in storyline, and differences in art direction... but if they don't get the characters right, it's over. Not only is she one of the most god-awful mainstream actresses I've seen this side of a soap-opera (though smallville does come close at times), but she also looks and acts nothing like the Chun-Li character. And out of all the popular martial arts actresses out there, they still couldn't pick anyone better? It's not like CHun-Li is a very unique or deep character to pull off. As best I can tell, it seems like they casted her on money-making celebrity status alone. May as well have picked Paris Hilton or Sarah Jessica Parker. I can't believe I'm saying this, but this is probably a worse casting decision than putting Mila Kunis in Max Payne.
  15. megalols. Actually, it would depend on the type of ADHD you have. A lot of the time, it's not so much an issue with not being able to concentrate, as much as it's an issue where your brain goes into overdrive and you can't control it. Of course that's an oversimplification, but I wouldn't be too surprised if some people with ADHD were actually better at this game than most people.
  16. KHHHAAAAAAAANN!!!!!!!! That sucks. I didn't realize that Khan and the Fantasy Island guy were the same.
  17. As far as old school games go, it was definitely the first time I played Super Metroid. I was completely blown away by the empty, isolated feeling of the opening. The second Ridley's eyes started glowing in the background, my heart started racing. By the time I got off the ship with only moments left on the countdown timer and only a little bit of life left, I was drenched in sweat. It was awesome.
  18. It's worth noting that having a different rating system than everyone else can really skew the ratings of games on stuff like GameRankings.com or other sites that compile multiple reviews. In addition (and this may have been mentioned already) it really makes average games seem better than they are. I've been subscribed to GI for 8 months, and I didn't know that their 7 was different from someone else's 7 until I read this thread.
  19. Yet another reason for me to just friggin move to New York already.
  20. Dude... I effing loved Tribes 2. This is the best (gaming related) news I've heard in a long time. I'd definitely be in if we started playing regularly like with TF2.
  21. I'd first check with the studio and see which one they prefer, but if they just give you a blank canvas to work with, you should definitely go Spanish.
