  1. Here's an Animal Crossing track called ''Able Sisters'' that I decided to a lofi remix of. Just felt inspired and wanted to give it some new life, haha. It's technically supposed to be a little older sounding as it's ''Lofi,'' but it has a driving hip hop beat on top of it. I first created a cover of the exact arrangement from the original piece (upright bass, acoustic guitar, flute, drum machine, synths), then I treated that recording as a sample to transform it into the lofi genre. Anyway, here it is! lemme know what you think! a like or comment would be appreciated if you enjoy!
  2. Yo! I made new orchestral arrangement for this Deep Castle theme from Mario & Luigi series. The original composition is beautiful and calm. While keeping the same feeling, I also transformed it a little more epic when the drums come in. The original:

  4. How bout them metroid games, yeah? I don't have my guitars right now, so I guess i'll distort some synthesizers for the time being. This was fun to make, hope you enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moa5hVR41wM Feedback welcome as always.
  5. Here's a song very commonly remixed. I used 3 different subgenres to remix this. It's a mix of psytrance/house/drum and bass. Thank you for looking!
  6. Hi there folks. Just finished my Touhou - U.N. Owen Was Her? arrangement. Hard to describe, so it's just better to see for yourself :D. The original:
  7. Hey guys, new to the site! I recently completed my remix of Sneakman from Jet Set Radio and wanted to share it here. Would love to hear your thoughts on it.
  8. Needle Man is the theme which made me start remixing in the first place, so I tried working on it again. This time with new gear and a new DAW (Bitwig instead of FL Studio) Original: Yami - Needles.mp3
  9. Hey everybody! Well, as I made a Piano arrangement of Aerith's Theme from FFVII, I thought I'd make an arrangement of Tifa's Theme too! The simplicity and nakedness of the music I feel is really effective, but I'll let you guys be the judges of that! Enjoy!
  10. Yo! It has been a long time since I made an arrangement for Street Fighter music. This is Juri's Theme. There is quite intense parts in the middle...had fun recording guitars :). This is the original soundtrack: How do you feel about it overall? Mixing balance and other stuff that comes to mind.
  11. Hey everyone! The newest arrangement is now up, it's a Waltz (yes; another!) but this time, based upon the Comet Observatory Music from Super Mario Galaxy. After playing this through from beginning to end during the lockdown here in the UK, I thought this piece would be just perfect for a Waltz, and it didn't disappoint! I did try to insert a couple of other melodies (disguised, of course!! :D), if you can figure them out, good on you! ^_^; Do hope you enjoy!!
  12. Hi! It's been a while since I posted on OCRemix, ... but now finally my new VGM album is out! It's called Rock 'n' Roll for Basement Dwellers and has 8 classic rock and funk covers of video game songs – this time with vocals. Songs are from Mega Man 3, Mega Man 10, Phantasy Star 2, Blades of Steel, and other games. Reactions have been very positive so far. Hope you like it! Listen to it here: http://mutherpluckin-b.com/sm2player_basement.html Or on Youtube: Find all my music on http://mutherpluckin-b.com
  13. Hello! I just finished new arrangement for Dark Cloud - Main Theme. Guitar is in the main role, but piano and synth also plays key parts in this. The original: What are your thoughts? I have been struggling with drum programming a little bit recently. If anyone knows or has some helpful tutorials concerning that, I'm very interested to check those out!
  14. Just committed the cardinal sin of remixing popular VGM by making this hybrid HipHop/EDM remix of Go Straight from Streets of Rage 2, to celebrate the release of SoR4. https://soundcloud.com/djmokram/knuckleduster Though I know this isn't admissible on OCR due to liberal use of in-game sfx, I'd still love to get some feedback for the arrangement, cause one ear can only take me so far.
  15. Hi there! I made an arrangement for Strikers 1945 II - Battle of Extreme North There has been some time since I played or recorded guitar, but this one got my fire back. Here is the original soundtrack:
  16. Hey everyone! OK, so to add to all the awesome Final Fantasy hype going about the place, I've decided to do something a bit........ 'different' Here's the newest piece of music I've arranged, a version of the Final Fantasy VI Opera Scene, arranged for a String Octet (traditionally, two String Quartets put together, put pretty much any mix of 8 stringed instruments). At MagFest this year, the Triforce and Videri String Quartets both participated in an orchestral performance I directed, we performed a couple of parts from The Creation of Hyrule! (yay!! ) so, as a way of thanks, I arr
  17. Hey everybody! To celebrate the new remake of FFVII, I decided to start making Piano Arrangements, and here's the first I've done - Aerith's Theme from FFVII. A simple one, but hope it has a good effect on the listener
  18. Here’s a remix I did this month, trying a combination of heavy bass and synth beats supporting high strings, with some brass sitting in the middle. Please enjoy! Super Mario Galaxy: Melty Molten Galaxy Remix
  19. Hi folks, I wanted to share my interpretation on this theme. Golden Sun is one of my most loved games, played it when I was a kid and many of you probably know this theme/game, so I think no introduction is needed Also, I always write original music, so this is my first rework Please be merciful with your judgement!
  20. I just released a FF7 EP and wanted to share it with you guys! Enjoy! https://fanlink.to/Shinra
