ad.mixx Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Do you think there'd be any way to lock the layers added onto the map? So they can't be deleted or moved? I was trying to move mine around earlier and ended up accidentally moving someone else's. It's all straightened out now but gmaps seems so finnicky when you're trying to scroll the map it seems like that sort of thing could happen a lot more when it gets filled out. It's a suggestion. Not too big of a deal if you're careful at least. Quote
Hemophiliac Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Added myself, I'd add others if I had permission...but i don't so it's just me. Quote
Darklink42 Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Added myself earlier. And now on the zoomed out view Darklink's name covers mine up which is funny cause we're both Taylors. We'll have to rename Northern California at this rate. Quote
SystemsReady Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Hm, it complains about me not having any privileges, so... Quote
Meteo Xavier Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 I seriously can't be the only posted Ocremixer in East Tennessee. I was sure there were others. Quote

Guifrog Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 I can assure you there's something to review about the concept of loneliness on that map. Quote
KyleJCrb Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Man, where were all you Arizona people when I still lived there? Quote

Arrow Posted March 11, 2014 Author Posted March 11, 2014 How to Plan an OCR MAGFest Caravan by Jarel Jones That would be one loooooooong ass roadtrip. Not too big of a deal if you're careful at least. As best I can tell, this isn't possible. Google Maps doesn't allow the ability to lock down layers. You can lock folders that layers are stored in, but then that means no-one can edit any of the markers in that layer after that point, even if it's one they originally placed. Quote
Flexstyle Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Man, where were all you Arizona people when I still lived there? I know, right? The funny thing is, us AZ folks are pretty much all "new breed" OCR-ers. None of us have really been around OCR for terribly long. Quote
Garrett Williamson Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 I feel so awesome for living fairly close to Joshua Morse. Quote

bj_waters Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 I admit that I've only been a lurking fan of this site and that I haven't really contributed around here, but I hope you don't mind me adding myself (as my username). Glad to see there are a few others in Utah. Quote

It's like one of those ice cream koans that sounds more poetic than it is, but still has its depth all the same. /offtopic observation. Quote
Guifrog Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 And now that you've just replied, I don't feel so lonely anymore! <3 [/end] Well, I know there's some fellow countrymen names to consider, although they still live kinda far away from here IIRC. Quote
Kanthos Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Added. I know of a couple other relatively active people on the forums who are within 30-45 minutes of me, plus a one-time remixer is a friend of a friend. Toronto used to have reasonably large meetups though, 8 years ago or so, but it feels pretty inactive now. Still not as bad as almost anywhere overseas though; sorry to you guys! Quote
BrothaDom Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Dude I'm like 40 minutes away Sounds like potential collaboration! Plus northern PA and Philly? Awesome Quote
Eino Keskitalo Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 I believe I just took the northernmost position over from Rexy. --Eino Quote
