I'm not a Sonic fan, but these were pretty neat. For some reason, half of the tracks I kept(about 4) came from the bonus list of songs. The first disc didn't do much for me, but the later songs kicked in for the win.

I think the project is really great, thanks to all that worked on it.

Though I was a bit disappointed in the lack of speedy tracks. It is a Sonic game after all, and none of the tracks really captured that sense of speed.

I have been waiting for this project forever. The game's soundtrack ranks near the top of my all time favorites and being just about the biggest Sonic The Hedgehog fan in Cook County only makes it all the sweeter. But to be brutally honest I thought some of the songs didn't stay close enough to the originals. However SnappleMan's were by far the best. Especially the final boss themes. The man is truly a deity.

Blame my flair for dramatic newswriting. But anyway, the word's getting out.

By the way, I'd say my three favorite tracks right now are Walk on Water, Malicious Fingers (Death Egg intro FTW!) and Knuckleduster. This is also the first time I've listened to a site project without wanting to skip a single track. It's all that good to me.
