Something I wrote and did a while back. I'm playing the flute, and I wrote the background music. If I recall correctly for the background music, used notation software to command a Roland keyboard, and recorded the result.

What genre of music uses only Sound Effect files?

I've been looking into a lot of alternative music options lately, like Electro Swing and TechnOpera, but one thing really started bothering me. Is there a name for using only ingame sound files to make a song? Examples: "Red Team Wants to Battle" "Battlebeats - battlefield song" There are lots of things out there, which would potentially include the items such as the "Windows Noises" song, but does this have a category name yet? I've probably overlooked the name if there is one, but it doesn't seem to be an easy thing to search up, as I'm probably ignorant of a keyword or somesuch. You could technically call it "sampling" but that feels wrong as the whole song is comprised of this, as Sampling is the action used to make the song, but is it the genre as well? -
I'm inclined to music and I want to help a close friend. I wonder about some music artists. They need to find ways to promote their own craft and music. They need to get out to the masses to gain popularity. What do you think is the best method? Is the use of social media enough? How about an online fan connections to build their own careers? Which is the best tool should musicians use to market their music? Any thoughts? -

So I figure I'd post some of my Puppet work. I build puppets regularly (Both original and video game themed) I also voice them, puppeteer them, as well as film and edit the videos. I find I'm better at writing songs than writing full scripts. FYI THESE VIDEOS ARE NOT FOR KIDS. Here are a few of my better ones. Hello OC Remix community, I've been itching to do an OC remix for a very, very long time (I think I was introduced to it around 2000). In the meantime, I thought I'd jump into the fray and share an original piece I did earlier this year. I'm a huge fan of film scores from the 80's, and composed a horror/sci-fi/thriller piece with flavors of Tangerine Dream and John Carpenter.
