I'm not sure this is the right place to post this...

Is there a way to change the order of the posts, so newest posts are last, instead of first? I could only find the option for topics.

Thanks for the help, sorry if this is the wrong place to post it. I have a feeling this option is somewhere very obvious...

Go there, and scroll to Thread Options.

Pyro Paper Planes

That only has the order for threads, not posts.

DarkeSword

That option is for how posts are displayed in threads. Set it to "Linear - Oldest First."

Pyro Paper Planes

...I swear I did that before, and it changed the order of the threads, not the posts.

Regardless, thank you for the help.

Amy noticed that the 15 latest comments on a ReMix page also shows deleted comments. Check out http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00316/ vs. http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=148&page=5 for an example.

Fixed, sorry for the delay.

Noticed that too. Another occurrence (eighth one down, as of now): http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01711/ and http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=16169&page=2. It was deleted for a good reason, but the ones Palpable pointed out are worse.

Also, this page just delivers coding errors: http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01180/.
(such as: Warning: DOMDocument::loadXML() [domdocument.loadxml (http://www.ocremix.org/forums/../remix/OCR01180/domdocument.loadxml)]: Opening and ending tag mismatch: x line 11 and blockquote in Entity, line: 18 in /home/ocremix/public_html/includes/php/classes/BaseView.php on line 155)

Also fixed; FCKEditor (used on the backend) appears to have a weird bug where the word "expression" is parsed into a rogue <x> tag that closes asymmetrically.

1. Got missed back when I did the renaming effort for OCR01000. I'm still hoping to move forward with updating every individual ReMix re: tags, so that's fixed in my copy and will eventually be fixed.

2. Fixed. Gracias.

Maybe you already know about this, but I just noticed and felt inclined to mention.

BBCode from the Comments/Reviews threads is visible on the ReMix write-up page. I noticed when I commented on tefnek's new mix, here: http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01907/

On the main page for each remix, the game picture can be covered by the discussion. This appears to be because the discussion is set to start at the end of the text of djp's writeup without regard to the picture. When the picture is taller than the writeup (which is more prevalent for earlier remixes... even when the picture is already small), the discussion still starts right after the text and therefore right on top of the picture. For example: http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00451/ and http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00385/. I checked these pages in IE as well as Firefox to make sure it wasn't a browser-specific issue, and it wasn't.

If there's a web-programming equivalent to image-wrapping, that would fix this.

A small thing, of course. Just noticed it and thought I'd point it out.

Edit: Since it came to mind, a second issue: there are numerous instances where the title of a song is without spaces (and sometimes without punctuation) on the main remix page but has the correctly spaced (and punctuated) title on the discussion page. Case in point: http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00946/ and its review thread http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=1176. Frankly, I don't think it's worth the time to correct the titles of every single affected remix, and those of us who care to get the absolute correct title have learned (or will learn) to go to the discussion page, but since it's a discrepancy I figured I'd point it out as well.

Thanks for the offer; I can handle them BUT... you've still got wiki access, right? It'd be good to update the images used in each wiki mascot entry. I personally think it'd also be nice to embed official OCR youtube mixes of character theme mixes, one per article, so the mascot pages have some musics :) Good idea?

While it would be super awesome to have Tatsumakisenputronic play while someone reads Ryu's bio or any One Winged Angel mix queued up for Sephiroth, that kinda defeats the point of encouraging readers to click on ReMixed titles and find the mixes themselves. Not to mention some mascots don't even have one linked title (Wain, the Darkstalkers, *cough*theTapRunner*cough*), or even their own theme songs.

Also, can someone tell me which game the new full armored X comes from?

EDIT: Never mind, found it. He and Bowser and Kraid's Pictured from lines have been updated, as well as every mascot image in the articles.

One thing really bothers me about this change: the ability to jump to a letter of the alphabet when sorting alphabetically appears to be missing.

I looked up New Super Mario Bros earlier, and had a heck of a time finding it in the 60-page alphabetized list. If each page were a letter, it wouldn't be that bad, but Mega Man 2 takes up a whole page (at least) by itself...

I like the way this theme looks better, but I feel that there was a loss of functionality.

I have not been getting email notifications when I get pms for a few weeks now. It's all set up correctly still, right boxes ticked etc and I didn't change anything recently that might have caused it. My email is also listed correctly. Can't think of any reason why it's not working.

Quick updates:

All mascots are now back in place; clear your cache to get the new javascript if you're still just seeing the first 50
Regarding alpha nav, what I'm hearing isn't necessarily that it needs to come back, but that SOMETHING needs to be added to make things more user-friendly. I'm thinking this will involve one or more of the following:

Changing google search on far right to some version of quicksearch instead, making it clearer that you can search games/mixes that way...
Moving the "browse" quickstats navigation smack dab towards the top of the homepage... it's still alive but looks fugly at the moment since it wasn't updated >>> http://ocremix.org/browse/
Adding specific quick search boxes to the list pages, so that when viewing the "remix" list there's a big search box for mixes, ditto games, etc.
Other ideas?

Again, just trying to get away from the alpha since it's not particularly scalable...

Dafydd
10-19-2009, 08:35 AM
I agree. It's "sportier", but also less welcoming. But I guess it's just a matter of what you're used to.

Another issue I have with it is that on my monitor, if no other, the upper part of the headphones in the logo is barely visible against the slightly brighter gray background. This wasn't an issue with the old colors, and to most people, it probably still isn't, but I still thought I should point it out.

Heh, that was the first thing I noticed when I saw the new skin.Hmm, the headphones are pretty easy to distinguish on my screen.

I don't really miss the functionality of the sidebar (never used it much), but I sort of miss the screen real estate it used to occupy. Feels weird reading threads spanning the full width of a wide-screen monitor.

Apart from that, I'm liking the new layout. :nicework:

Hmm... I'm not sure if it's because I'm using a different resolution monitor at school (1680x1050 at school vs. 1280x800 at home), but I like what I'm seeing now (http://www.cs.mun.ca/%7Ep34jmr/share/ocrscreenwork.png). I'll check how it looks at home this evening.

The forums are max-widthed at 1300 like the rest of the site... at home there should be no change. It does look like vBulletin 4 will be reintroducing sidebars at least on the forum index, and we have been considering using a thing RIGHT column on forums for ads, promoting mixes, albums, etc... we'll see.

The whole idea behind the width lock at 1300 is that, while folks with screen supporting larger resolutions shouldn't suffer, reading text that spans the width of the screen can get annoying.

jmr
10-20-2009, 06:30 PM
Ahh, I appreciate the explanation. I'd like to see the max width of forum threads to be a little less than 1300px (like I said, it feels weird reading things spanning the entire width of the screen), but that's just a personal preference and in the end, it's not a big deal at all.
EDIT: Holy wow I just discovered Stylish.
@-moz-document url-prefix('http://ocremix.org/forums') {
div.middle-column-full {max-width:1000px !important}
}...suits me just fine.

10-26-2009, 09:56 AM
As an experiment, why don't you make a list of people who complained about the sidebar, and then another one of those who complain about it being gone, and then see if anyone is in both lists?

I would like to, once again, propose the smiley window be cleaned up. There's one duplicate, one triplicate and one empty slot. This means another 4 smileys could fit in that same window without changing its size.

Besides, the order is messy.

I should have just said something like 'it would be awesome if we could set the max width for forum posts in our control panel' because the thrust of my request was on forum width, not on the sidebar (regardless of how I never once complained about the sidebar, ahem!). I should have posted this in the other thread, sure, but I thought prophet's idea here about a user cp option was excellent and I wanted to echo it. And the only reason I repeated it was because I already had another issue to point out, not to be annoying.

So: sidebar option would be cool. Max width function would be awesome.

Hey, is there a chance you can consider moving around the "forums" submenu to display the forum subsections before the Chat and Social Networking/RSS?

But I would like to make it so that the menu doesn't drop down just by moving the mouse over it. I just click on it to go straight to the forums. Having it drop down is kind of pointless, and sometimes, it causes Firefox to hang.

Maybe make it so that you have to click open the menu instead?

Can we please, for the love of God, get a home page button? I know I brought this up before, but it seems rather silly to allow people to enter their home page URL, but not provide a link so other people can actually visit it. We all know how lazy web surfers are, and the chances of anyone digging through a member's OCR account pages to find out if they even have a home page, are pretty damn slim.

We used to have one before the vbulletin changeover. Please bring it back.

On the chat applet page (http://ocremix.org/community/chat/applet/) in the navigation links that appear in under the page title, the link back to the chat info page (http://ocremix.org/info/Chat) is broken. It instead links to http://ocremix.org/community/chat/, which 404s.

The dropdown navigation tabs on the top of the page hide behind the Java applet as well. I've tested it on Chrome 3.0 and Firefox 3.5.4.

The chat applet also refused to connect, but that's probably because I'm at work right now. :-P

The links to the info pages in languages other than English are garbled, and the ones for Spanish and French don't work (the one for Japanese does, and all the characters show up correctly on the Japanese pages).

It's a character encoding issue. The page's character set is Western (ISO-8859-1), but the non-english text uses Unicode characters.

Here are the corrected phrases in Western encoding. (I'm not sure if this'll display properly, so here goes nothing)

Made some changes; still trying to fix the links themselves, but the text was reduced down to language codes, and I added a meta tag that I *think* has fixed the issue with the dropdowns hiding the links - can you confirm, Mr. Keyn?

Seems to be. I'm not on my own computer for a time, though, as my video card (or slot) died.

{Edit} - Tried it on my work computer and it's not fixed. Actually, the problem has migrated to the front page now.

Why don't you do what you did for the Japanese page, i.e. not use any non-english letters in the url? Instead of "http://ocremix.org/info/Category:Información_en_Espańol", you could use "http://ocremix.org/info/Category:christwheredidthesepeoplelearntodrive" or something.

Big ole' gap between the first and second album on http://ocremix.org/info/Albums. Encountered on both Firefox and IE.

Screenshot: http://i372.photobucket.com/albums/oo161/kewlguy715/albumgap.jpg

Different issue: missing a source on http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01909/.

The source credited is correct, but - per the judges' thread and my own ear (by checking the source) - the second one is missing: Those Chosen By The Planet.

Another incorrect source: http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01086/.

Per Miku himself (and again by me, checking the source), the correct source is Mabe Village.

As I find these, should I post them here? I ask because these aren't exactly design questions/issues. Is there a more appropriate thread? I couldn't find one offhand; I'd be happy to create one if desired.

And yes, I plan on finding more of these (should they exist) because I re-title every remix to include the source tunes.

Got it too. The distance between the rest of them is a little big too, I think, as is the distance between the album titles and their images, which is probably a result of removing the sidebar, enabling the frame to cover nearly the whole screen.

I know IE 8 is pretty much the devil, but I thought I'd let you know about a bug. I went to this page, http://www.ocremix.org/game/secret-of-monkey-island-dos/, and noticed that there were some thumbnails of screenshots to click on. I thought that was a cool idea, by the way. So, I clicked on it and got... nothing. The lights dimmed, but nothing came up. Here's a screenshot:

Quoi?

Yeah, that was an issue with the lightbox we were using, called shadowbox. The author went all commercial and changed the license, so I've been wanting to move off. Found a good alternative that uses jquery - works in IE8 now, at least for me, though it still looks better in FF35/Chrome/Opera. See http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=26630 for more.

I have to agree with this. I remember DJ Pretz saying it was a clutter issue, or something along those lines and to give the new layout a shot.

After a while, the lack of alphabet shortcuts really just makes navigating all games together tedious. The search bar is a good substitute only if someone already has a specific game in mind.

Is there anyway you can bring it back, maybe as a drop down menu or something? There's a drop down menu up there already, but users have no idea where in the list of games each page will end up, making the feature kind of pointless.

We're playing around with having data for non-OCR albums where relevant; since a lot of mixes that get submitted are from albums, etc., it makes sense to be able to contextually display related albums. Deus Ex was added back when we interviewed Mr. Brandon, just for testing purposes, mostly.

I was talking to someone about an idea of mine and they directed me to this thread so I suppose I'll put it down as a suggestion. ^^

There are plenty of people who would love to help with site projects who can't make music in any way shape or form. However, site projects are sometimes rather big so it requires more than just music. There's a matter of forum/web hosting, art, coding (html, css, etc), flash, etc. And there are people who could (and would!) help with these things who don't necessarily have musical talent.

So I think if there was a way for people who have the means to volunteer to help out with non-musical aspects of projects and put that out there, that'd be cool. Be that in a way like a field in profiles (kinda like the collaboration status?) or even just a thread (like that Sale/Want one Prophet has) where people post and someone keeps it updated. I dunno the best way, but it seems like it'd be cool if it could be pulled off.

Not a bad idea for tracking this kind of thing. At our MAGFest panel, we mentioned that we want to get more volunteers to do work for the site. We always could have used volunteers for something or other, but it's been difficult to organize. A system like you describe is a step in the right direction.

When I type something in the search box and then change the category, it erases what I just typed. It's not a big deal but I like to search for mixes and since the default is games, I end up typing the name of the mix, realizing I have to change the category to mixes, and the retype the name of the mix. Like I said, not a huge deal, but if you could have a buffer to save the content of the box, it probably wouldn't take more than an hour to fully implement and test.

A few game title-related matters:

1) DuckTales (http://ocremix.org/game/50/ducktales-nes) needs a capital T according to Wikipedia and Google.

2) Since we're going with full titles in the database, Guilty Gear X (Dreamcast) could use its subtitle "By Your Side" added on its page and in its url. If you need proof, take a look at a larger image of the cover (http://www.dreamcast-scene.com/uploads/Main/GuiltyGearCover.p.jpg).

3) Personal nitpick: I'd like to see the Street Fighter pages for Champion Edition (http://ocremix.org/game/55/street-fighter-ii-champion-edition-arc) and The New Challengers (arcade) (http://ocremix.org/game/575/super-street-fighter-ii-the-new-challengers-arc) replace the hyphen - with a colon : in their titles for consistency.

And speaking of Champion Edition, it was released in '92, not '94.

For no reason, I refuse to make these fixes. (i.e. done, the fixes will be live later.) Re: GGX, I see what you're saying and agree, but Dave has a point that conventionally, practically no one at all uses "By Your Side" as a subtitle, unlike say Street Fighter II: The World Warrior. But I have added the data of the full GGX name as an alternate name.

I assume you're using IE8? This isn't the forum upgrade, that'll look significantly different. This was an HTML/CSS change to switch from using *somewhat* hackish nested div tags to instead using the CSS3 rounded-corner property. IE8 doesn't support this, but FF35, Chrome, Opera 10.5 all do. IE9 is supposed to, when it comes out.

I realize the aesthetic will be slightly less pleasing for our IE users, but to me it's worth the tradeoff for much cleaner HTML/CSS. Approximately:

Before:

<div class="panel-white">
<div class="panel-white-tl"> </div>
<div class="panel-white-tr"> </div>
<div class="panel-white-inside"> STUFF GOES HERE!! </div>
<div class="nogap"> </div>
<div class="panel-white-bl"> </div>
<div class="panel-white-br"> </div>
</div>

After:

<div class="panel-white"> STUFF GOES HERE!! </div>

...

I didn't move the private messages link - is it still not showing up, after refreshing? It should not have been affected.

If you're not using IE8 or earlier, please let me know what you are using. Again, IE9 should come along this year, and has been advertised to support rounded-corners.

Part of my decision-making process was that vBulletin 4, which WILL be the forum upgrade, employs rounded-corners in its default theme, and simply looks boxy in IE. I figured if they're gonna do it, so am I, plus I like the cleaner code.

there's a reason that you can't do that - mainly because there isn't a way to classify most remixes. some songs may start out chiptune, then go to rock, then to 'orchestral'...(black wing metamorphosis). there are tags, however, that you can use to find remixes.

And also because I read somewhere the one of the goals of OCR is to get listeners to open up their scope to more styles of music rather than searching for an individual style (example: only hip hop remixes)

EDIT: FOUND IT!

Why aren't the ReMixes categorized by genre, i.e. techno, jazz, orchestral, etc.?

OC ReMix has no intentions of categorizing pieces by genre. We've discussed this matter several times - what it boils down to is a feeling that:

There are many pieces that don't fit nicely into genres or have multiple genres, and putting them in "miscellaneous" and "multiple" categories would be kind of lame; and
Part of the purpose of the site is to open people's minds (and ears) to new horizons. Try everything. (http://ocremix.org/forums/../info/Torrents) If all you want to do is download Square techno, so be it, but you'll be missing out on tons of great songs. We've decided not to implement a system that would encourage that kind of navigation. Taken off the OCR FAQ.

A third reason could potentially be that djpretzel would feel lonely having the only piece in the hillbilly genre (http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00015/), but we think the first two reasons are strong enough.

Also, the Play Preview window for Will is the Lord (http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01708/) extends to 9:05, meaning 5 minutes of silence follows the end of the mix.

Every FF4 ReMix page is missing the company with its link in the Game line, i.e. it appears as:

Game: Final Fantasy IV (http://ocremix.org/game/11/final-fantasy-iv-snes) (, 1991, SNES (http://ocremix.org/system/snes/))

instead of:

Game: Final Fantasy IV (http://ocremix.org/game/11/final-fantasy-iv-snes) (Square (http://ocremix.org/org/123/square), 1991, SNES (http://ocremix.org/system/snes/))

This might have to do with the fact that FF4's info page doesn't say "Published 1991 by Square for Super Nintendo Entertainment System"

Two nitpicks for two review thread labels:

- Will is the Lord (http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=16040) should have a short I in the word "is" (that's the rule on the mix page, in the MP3, and everywhere else).

- Uh Oh! The Beat Have Started To Move! (http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=655) needs a single quote mark ' at the end of the title (also in the first post).

Also, last I checked, the Metal Gear mix was the only one shortened to acronym form (UOTBHSTM) in the 1-1000 torrent file. But I trust you've dealt with it by now. :)

1. "Is" is a verb and is capitalized in proper titles. That was a mistake of mine I caught a ways back. So the thread title is right, and the DB will be corrected when we re-release the individual mixes.

2. Fixed.

3. Fixed in January '09. The updated files will have this fixed, no worries.

Just cross-checking with Wikipedia.

This is a list of all games on the site, sorted by number of remixes, in ascending order.
http://ocremix.org/games/?&offset=0&sort=mixcountasc

There's 74 of them with no mixes at all. Some of them are left in the database after all of their remixes were removed during the removal processes/holocausts (good thinking, btw). Some (e.g. Guild Wars) are listed as having no mixes because they are a secondary source; covered only in ReMixes primarily of some other game (World of Warcraft, in this case).

A few games are ported to several consoles but only have mixes listed for one of them. I guess this makes sense if a soundtrack is not identical on all ported versions. The strange thing is - while e.g. the Arcade version of Bubble Bobble is listed as having no ReMixes, its game page lists 4, each of which in turn list the NES version as their source, never the Arcade version. However, each of these ReMixes are listed to cover the 'Main Theme'. Clicking this song name takes you to that song's page, which lists the Arcade version as its source. An incredibly minor issue, but it makes me wonder how this database is set up. :-?

Finally, there's a few here that actually do have ReMixes (though fairly recently added) on their game page, but are still listed as having no mixes in the list I linked to above (The Ninja Warriors, The Curse of Monkey Island, Crush, among others) despite existing on only one console. How long does it take for the database to update itself so it shows the correct number of ReMixes? I'm assuming it's not being done manually and that someone's just been sloppy. Either it doesn't update itself often enough or there's a bug somewhere.

Dafydd you saucy bastard, your attention to detail would be better served as part of our official staff, working on data entry/quality... we must discuss this on the IRC.

The answer to your questions is almost too complex to get into, but one of the causes is cached counters that do indeed get updated manually. There's KINDA a reason for that but it's not a great one, so we'll see about automating it. The counter currently calculates mixes based solely on primary game assignment, and needs to factor in songs as well. That should address most of those issues.

Dafydd

So apparently I possess "a certain irreverent gaiety and ease of manner", according to reliable sources and your previous post. Eye I can roll with that. I'd much rather be called saucy than cheesy, at any rate. Anyway, I noticed Polo was offered the same position. Can't think of a better person for the job, as the two of us have a record of excellent teamwork.

Fixing those counters would probably help, yeah, but I still wonder about Bubble Bobble. There's a song for the NES version, named 'Main Theme (Hurry Up!) - Skull Monster Appears' (http://ocremix.org/song/773), but that's not the one listed as the source tune for any of the ReMixes. Any good reason to keep it this way? Why is the arcade version even in the game database to begin with?

Speaking of the IRC, I can't seem to connect to it right now. Something about the channel not existing, despite being able to see the list of people logged in. Maybe it's only an issue with the online client.

I know there's a Forums Home, but my guess is I'm not the only guy who mistakes the list in the dropdown menu for an exhaustive one. Also, the online java client used for the irc seems to be broken. Maybe it needs an update?

My point is that when using the online applet, I can join the #ocremix channel and see the list of people in it, but whenever I try to say something I get the message 'Not in any channel yet, please type "/join #your_channel" first.'. Typing /join #ocremix, of course, doesn't help, since I'm already there. It didn't use to be this way so I'm assuming the client is either broken or outdated. I tried joining using xchat first, and then I could see my applet user joining and then quitting, so the applet is working to some extent, but the elevator doesn't quite go all the way up.

The page for the NES port of Donkey Kong (http://ocremix.org/game/133/donkey-kong-nes) could use some fixin'. A few Wikipedia articles state that it was released in '83, not '81 like the arcade version. This means that only the UVL reference link is correct about the release year (speaking of which, the IMDb page talks about the original game and the MobyGames link says '83 only in the header, not in the page contents). Also, the screenshot currently shows the arcade title screen, not the NES one.

Listed source is Bionic Commando Theme, though I'm pretty sure it's the Area 2 (& others) music. The three NES mixes we have list the same sourcetune from the NES version of the game, but they remix the Area 1 music. So, unless it's different in the gameboy version of the game, this should be renamed to Area 2 or whatever the official name of the OST track is.

The song name being "Bionic Commando Theme" doesn't mean it's wrong and/or not the Area 2 theme in the Game Boy version. If someone can verify which levels the theme is used in for the Game Boy game (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txbQ3nD7HdE&playnext=1&list=PL83CA8CC1365BDC2F), that can be added as alias information. It's basically the same theme as the NES version, so (in terms of a relationship) it's like a child version of the parent NES theme.

- Similarly, Pokémon Red (http://ocremix.org/game/508/pokemon-red-version-gb)'s release date is currently listed as 1998. Since you're going with Japanese release years, it should be 1996 (the same as Blue).

- The YouTube vid for Sagat's Moonbike (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAYuMWPeTnM) cuts off before it fully finishes, i.e. without the smooth fadeout in the MP3 or the fade-to-dark OCR headphones logo. Would this warrant a reupload like with Will Is the Lord?

- Finally, the review thread for Club Del Toro lowercases the D in "del" (it's supposed to be capitalized, right?).

- Similarly, Pokémon Red (http://ocremix.org/game/508/pokemon-red-version-gb)'s release date is currently listed as 1998. Since you're going with Japanese release years, it should be 1996 (the same as Blue).

Corrected. Should show on the site soon.

Bummer. Yeah, it cuts out 2 seconds early. If it had just ended w/o the typical video fade, but the song cut out properly, I would have lived with it; will fix soon.

- Finally, the review thread for Club Del Toro lowercases the D in "del" (it's supposed to be capitalized, right?).

It's lowercase. "de" & "del" are lowercased in proper titles. It's a short preposition.

I'm just wondering... why is there no [spoiler] tag here?

Will that come with the upgrade (if it happens) orr...?

I mean, using white text is nice and all, but sometimes it seems like a proper spoiler tag would be so much simpler, and look a lot better than wall of invisible text.

Can we expect that upgrade before 2015?

2027's the target date.

2027's the target date.

Oh good, I was worried that the worst case scenario would be 2031.

I was wondering if, instead of using YouTube to host the videos on here, there was any consideration to using HTML5's AUDIO or VIDEO tags? From what I've seen, all modern browsers should be compatible with them.

That would mean storing the videos on the site, which would impact bandwidth for the rest of the site considerably. The site doesn't even store the MP3's right now, I think. Leaves more bandwidth to run the forum.

Heath Morris (http://ocremix.org/artist/4556/heath-morris)' current website is http://heathmorrismusic.com/. The link on his artist page is outdated.

So I was just checkin' my profile options for some reason and noticed that there's a field for Wii Number, PSN ID, and Gamertag.

I was thinkin', maybe there could be a field for 3DS FC, since that's system-specific and not game-specific? Just a thought.

Is there any way to get a notification if someone quoted me in a thread? It would be a great way of keeping track if someone is directly replying to something I may have said, in a more specific manner. (As opposed to subscribing to the thread and checking all the posts manually)
