So...I've heard good things about this game. I haven't got it, but anyone have opinions?

When I saw this on the front page, I thought "Holy crap another album?" When it was only one song I was disappointed. Then I heard the song, and holy crap its awesome! DE-FLEK-TOR!

Both. Most remixes I download are from games I've played or heard the sound track to. But I also have remixes of tracks I've never heard of or played, simply because I enjoyed the remix. The best example of the latter would be the albums OCR puts out. I've never heard of Armored Core before joining OCR, but I love Anosou's The Answer album.

If your feet have that kind of skill, I wonder how your hands play.

I heard somewhere that the consumtion rates for the newer models of PS3 and 360s are not as bad.

It's been 2 months since I've left my consoles back home for college, and I am considering bringing them up by 2012. However, I've also become much more active in environmental activism, and I wonder if my main hobby has been a huge source of environmental degradation. I'm worried that as the consoles and the computers become more advanced and gaming becomes more popular, we will be consuming more energy to satisfy our demand for better graphics and expansive gameplay. Of course, with more downloadable content, cloud gaming, and disk-less games, that impact is reduced on the manufacturing end. If it turns out that gaming is a serious hazard, I may have to abandon console gaming (and probably computer gaming) for the sake of the environment. Do you guys think that as time goes on gaming will become greener? Should the industry take steps to reduce its ecological footprint? I sincerely hope this is in the right forum.

Warner Brothers has officially run out of ideas to be searching on reddit for a freaking feature-length movie. But still I find the whole situation to be absolutely awesome. I think the movie itself will not be that great, largely because people like me tear apart the science and logic behind such movies. Why would US Marines go back in time? How do they go back in time (it better be faster than the speed of light...)? How would history change if the Marines won? These are questions WB needs to answer, or else the movie will fail dramatically. And you are?

So after looking at the monstrosity in this thread, I feel that more traffic should be devoted to good music videos that deserve attention. Any music video qualifies. I'll start with a video my brother produced:

I've never felt this shocked since hearing bin Laden was killed. I have reacted to a President's death more calmly (for me Reagan and Ford). Under his reign, he has seen the rise of the mp3 player (iPod), a strong competitor to the then-dominant Windows (Mac OS X), the birth of the smartphone (iPhone), and the birth of the tablet (iPad). It will be interesting to see how Apple takes off without him. RIP Steve. PS If you have Apple stocks, I would not sell them tomorrow. It's not worth the losses. Apple will emerge better.

*Thread Resurrection Process Complete* Sooooo...I just found out that my university has arbitrarily decided that the dorms will not be open until the 11th (I study in DC btw). So not only would I not have a place to stay during MAGfest, there are two days where there is nothing going on. I may (bit of a stretch there) find a place to stay in between, but so far I can't go to MAG X at all. It's a shame because I finally got involved with the nerd culture. Just curious...I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share a room. I saw that Brushfire had some room two months ago...or maybe someone else has an extra space. I would be willing to pay my share, as long as the price is not to heavy (I will use sleeping bag if necessary). Preferably nothing too loud, but knowing MAGfest, sleep will be as rare as diamond in Minecraft.

iTunes is my thing, since I actually like to support artists. Purchased. Also gave a review, cause, you know, it's a nice thing to do.

What do you use? If you use iTunes, you can change the info of the tracks by right-clicking and selecting "Get Info". I'm sure most other music players have the same function somewhere.
