2ND Impact Remix I figured I'd share; The game has such great music that's criminally overlooked : ) [PICTURE IS THE LINK] SOUNDCLOUD LINK -
Hello :). I finished my new music video. It's a cover about Final Fantasy 2 - Main Theme. It's a cool song and i wanted to try some "clean guitar" kind of arrangement for it. Feedback is appreciated :)! Here is the Cover: Here is the Original:

I tried to recreate the sound pretty closely (since I like it so much), but I extended the arrangement quite a bit. It also has a quote from its spiritual sequel, Scared Sweet: I don't know if this could get through the submission queue in time for the 31st, so I might have to put off submitting it until next year maybe? (I will be putting it on my YouTube.) Unless of course somebody says "go ahead"...

A quick little mix I thought I'd share : ) SLUMDON - HEARTHIS YOUTUBE

These recordings came from the premiere of my VGM-based jazz group, The Hard Modes, on 9/30 (same as my last post). This particular arrangement was inspired not only by Uematsu's original cut, but also by the ridiculously awesome cut from the piano collections album. Enjoy! If you'd like to read more about the project as a whole you can also check out my website. Thanks for listening!

Last month I put together a band for a single weekend. These are personal friends, fellow VGM musicians I've met over the years (online and in person), and my best friends: Strader and Juja. My career doesn't allow me to be social (so my friends are internet folks) or to go on an actual tour with a 'band', so I came up with the idea of taking my fictional 'band' on a fictional 'tour'. We all met up for the first time in a recording studio the day before our only show and hit 'record' on our practice session. The intent was to release a fake live 'world tour' album, complete with fake cheering (recorded ahead of time by some of my friends/fans), banter, etc, and mixed like a live album. We spent 5 hours recording 55 minutes of music, and the next 17 hours editing, mixing, mastering, and burning copies of the album so it could be released the night of our big show. We had a lot of fun and this is the product of that weekend. I hope you guys enjoy the fake live album, of the fake tour that never happened, by the fake band that doesn't really exist. I proudly present - The Careless Juja World Tour Live Album! DIGITAL DOWNLOAD: https://carelessjuja.bandcamp.com/album/careless-juja-world-tour-live-album (proceeds go toward recouping recording costs) For more info about how the album is made, sometime that weekend we also recorded an interview with NerdyShow. It's humorous and also provides a bit more insight: https://nerdyshow.com/2017/10/interview-careless-juja/

Hey guys, I recently completed a little arrangement of "Secret of the Forest" from the SNES class Chrono Trigger. This piece gets covered and arranged fairly often, but I decided I wanted to try my hand at it. A lot of the best covers for this piece either tend to be either a full replication of the original instrumentation or a solo piano piece, so I decided to meet somewhere in the middle and approach it as a piano and flute piece. The result is something that I hope is simple, approachable and a little elegant, while still retaining what made the original piece by Yasunori Mitsuda so special. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as we loved working on it. - Daniel.

Hello! I finished new cover for Pokemon - Bicycle Theme. I recorded some strings to spice my lead guitar parts, so the whole arrangement would sound much fuller. Feedback is welcome :)! Here is the cover: Here is the original soundtrack:

This is a very straightforward remix using the SNES and Genesis sounds. The arrangement is exactly the same as the original. This was more of an experiment to see what a retro song would sound like if an SNES and Genesis worked together. Basically I was satisfying my own curiosity.

Thought everyone would get a kick out of this; rock/metal cover of “Devil’s Lab” from FFVI. Let me know what y’all think! I’m particularly pumped on the solo in this one, haha.

Yo! I published my first collaboration cover with Arzie Van Dee :)! It's Mega Man 2 - Dr. Wily's Castle Theme. Our cover has quite a lot improvisation and original touch, which bends the original theme into a new direction. All feedback is welcome and appreciated!! =) Here is the cover: Here is the original soundtrack:

Hey guys, I've been playing FF9 a lot this week since it was rereleased on PS4. I had forgotten just how fun and memorable the music was from this game. The battle theme is especially fun and I love how it serves as a throwback to all the other battle themes in FF history before 7. I didn't really see that many solo piano arrangements out there, so I decided to write one and play it to some game footage. Hope you enjoy! Have a great weekend everyone!

I'm back with another remake. I used various Final Fantasy Mystic Quest sf2s (replaced the recorder with square because it sounds better), drum set is the custom standard from Xiload, used the Orch Hits from Drill Dozer The electric guitar is better quality than Star Fox's, which is cool. Added the original and had a hard time getting the two to sync. This is as close as I could get. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1cNg5GTkCUIZHh6SzE3ZTlHaGM reviews are appreciated.

Hello everybody! I am new to this forum and my english isn't very good... please excuse this. I am from germany, and i am still learning. I have made a remix of one of my favourite playstation-1-games, "Resident Evil". Because it's some kind of technosytle, i have named it "Resident Beat". I like to show it here and i am curious about your opinions. It's a mix of the original "Mansion Theme", played in game when you were wandering through the manor house, and some soundsamples from the game (howlings, ravens ...). I hope you like it! And please give me feedback. Greetings from Germany, Marko

3. completed Zelda BotW: Vah Naboris Dungeon Remix
Vidilian posted a topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
From what I can tell, the original doesn't just use notes from a normal diatonic scale, but I can find it hard figuring out some songs so I could be wrong. Will extend it later. Remix: https://sites.google.com/site/vspaine/wips/Unholy Thunder M.mp3?attredirects=0&d=1 Originals: -
Short experiment where I composed imaginary critical themes for Genesis Mortal Kombat. Added them on top of gameplay so you get an idea of how it'd work in practice. If you've played this game enough, you know it doesn't have that type of music. Grab all tracks here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0W_PJl47QIoMXk3amttQXFPTGc/view?usp=sharing
