  1. Hello everybody, REMEMBER CITADEL, Germany's only video game music collective band, is about to release its second four track EP. As an appetizer for the full thing we (or me, this time) put together a little music video of its first track, Old Friends, from the awesome Transistor soundtrack. Feel free to check it out, comment, and also leave a like at: https://www.facebook.com/remembercitadelband/
  2. hey I now continue the extreme g soundtrack the first extreme g is now completed download free on my bandcamp https://synesthesics.bandcamp.com/album/extreme-g-revised and here my 2 new remixes from extreme g2 Nintendo 64 Version (more and download coming soon) enjoy
  3. I made this mashup using emulated sounds from Contra Hard Corps, Castlevania III, Castlevania, Super Castlevania IV, Castlevania Bloodlines, The Adventures of Bayou Billy, and The Goonies II.
  4. Hey guys, I recently arranged and recorded a solo piano version of Kakakiro Village from OoT. I initially went for something more involved, but I decided to scale back and do a simple piano arrangement with some subtle reharmonization of the original tune. I think a big reason why the original tune is so effective is its simplicity, so I didn't want to make it too complicated. The biggest focus for me was getting that melody to sing and making the voicing of the chords towards the end of each phrase clear. I really wanted to accentuate that warm and fuzzy feeling I got when I first heard this tune. Hope you like it. Thanks!
  5. Sup guys! So I did a vocal remix to "Wildstyle Pistolero" from Sonic Mania. I gotta say this is definitely one of my favorites. Real smooth jazzy hip hop! Hope you like and have some Knuckles references in this. BTW...that DJ sound is all my voice
  6. Hi here is my new remix of the legend of zelda I use just vintage and analog sounds Give me your opinion Good Listening Original Track
  7. Yesterday, August 25th, was the 20th anniversary of one of my favorite games, Goldeneye. I got it for Christmas as a kid, and It was the first game I ever owned. I must have played that game for hundreds of hours, both single and multiplayer, loving every minute of it. Of course it helps that I was a huge James Bond fan, but even to this day it's one of the games from my childhood that I have the most fond memories of. What stuck with me the most though, as the years passed by was the music. So to celebrate the games 20th anniversary I decided to "Remaster" the entire soundtrack. I used something called N64midi tool to extract the original game midi and imported it into FL studio, that way I could perfectly match the rhythm and individual note length of each track, instead of just playing it by ear, which I'm not very good at. It took me about three months to get this project finished in my spare time, most of the time spent mixing and carefully picking the right instruments to strike a balance between mirroring the original sound and making it sound like the tracks were recorded with real instruments. I even got so inspired that I wrote a new original track in the style of the games soundtrack. I've uploaded the whole project onto my newly started YouTube channel, along with links to mp3 files in the description of every track. I really hope you guys enjoy my work as I have enjoyed listening to the various works posted to this site over the years.
  8. yoo back with a new game remix this time with a classic game for NES Metroid! Kraid's Lair hope you like it.. enjoy download coming soon.
  9. Wuz supposed to do something else, then I canceled the Idea cause I dont like wuts going on so far ;/ then i decided to randomly add the main zelda melody so the track doesn't go to complete waste(the part of the melody most people know). : / in other words, free ringtone download? lol.
  10. Edit3, final: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2vXGW-rxcYfaHhGOFBZSWJxNmM Remix Video: OST: Been getting back into streaming my composing process and thought I'd share the track I'm currently working on. Still pretty rough in stuff like transitions & writing and it's completely unmastered. Also, if you want to see previous sessions or watch it being made live, you can tune in at https://www.twitch.tv/nutritiousmusic
  11. Not sure if anyone here remembers me, but years ago I wrote a Ducktales remix with Doc Nano that made it onto the site (still one of my proudest achievements). Since then I've gotten busy with college and stuff, but I recently joined the Columbia Pops Orchestra, and my first order of business was to write a medley of themes from one of my favorite games of all time: Undertale. Definitely more of a medley than a remix, but look out for the motif from Memory popping up throughout. Other pieces include Megalovania, Spider Dance, Bonetrousle, Death by Glamor, Fallen Down, It's Showtime, and Oh! One True Love. I hope this fills you with determination.
  12. Sup guys! So I did a vocal remix to the Sonic Mania Intro! If the intro had lyrics this would be it! Enjoy! Original song is called “Friends” by Hyper Potions, and the lyrics are fitting! Hope yall like this one!

  15. I was planning on making this into some long 14 minute back and forth battle between Capcom fighters and marvel caracters. I got pretty exhausted and wanted to move on, I left it alone and finished it recently. So that's how it became just marvel characters. Take You For A Ride

  18. Source: OLD LINK: https://app.box.com/s/0bavhwkcnem49jjz8fj9pq6t40asxrkn LATEST VERSION: https://app.box.com/s/5jbuhtoq3aplcnf1kn7k0be1mklfkgny Something I've put some work into over the past week. I'm really like this one so far. This is one I'm not going to be putting to the sidelines. I promise. Vocals will be re-done with some pitch correction and ad-libs. EDIT: Closer to getting done on the composition side of things. Above link should still work. Still need to re-do vocals. Just laying down melody is all haha. That falsetto in the bridge is gonna be a pain in the ass to hit, might just do some edit magic. EDIT2: I did more vocal work, still need to do adlibs. I think it's coming along well. Hopefully I'll be finished with this on Thursday edit3: Info below. Here's some lyrics: Wake me Pushing out to escape we Need a reason to live My minds on the fringe I'm crying in desparation So break me If you're not gonna save me I'm pushing again The lives that we spend You're telling me over and over again Run away, run away Maybe I was wrong to stay Run away, run away Were these memories made in vein I'm broken to pieces So why can't you understand? Our time is coming to an end Run away, run away Maybe I should turn to say Run away, run away Were these memories made in vein?

  21. Overwatch fans! So I definitely created an EDM Remix featuring Genji's "I Need Healing" phrase! This has my own vocals as well. I guess its an original/game remix. I also created a lyric video for it! Hope you enjoy!
  22. I DID IT! All the notes are correct, tried to make it close to the original as possible. Enjoy! https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1cNg5GTkCUIbTVvZThFbjJsWm8 EDIT: No "twinkly arp thing"- don't know the notes. - I combined several versions- opening from original, variation from 80's version, some parts from 2005 on
  23. Zup humans! Been working on a remix of the underground theme from yoshi's island for the past 5 days. Its a WIP and I feel like my ears have become numb from listening to it for 5 days straight and I really need to hear what other people think about the mix and the arrangement. Original My remix, latest version
  24. Hey guys, It's been forever since I've made a proper remix. This one is definitely leaning towards more of a remake than a more traditional OCReMix so I don't think this would ever be able to be submitted. As the song progresses there's a bit more variation and deviation from the original tune. Over this was sort of a project to get me back into the swing of things. I think I really do need to submit a proper remix one day though. Either way, I'm looking for criticism on this I guess more on the mixing side of things. But any criticism is welcomed. Thanks for listening! ~Syllix
