  1. It was made about a week ago. I see there's a lot of potential missing in this music, but I still like it. Edit: it's remix of "It's Raining Somewhere Else" by Toby Fox, appeared in the game called "Undertale".
  2. The Complete all in one mix of my Destruction Derby Remix Project. Something that has been in the back of my head for a very long time, I thought it was time to get it out of my system. My tribute/remixed version of the entire Destruction Derby soundtrack for the PlayStation, originally produced by Elliot Sumner and Tim Swan back in 1995. I've tried to keep the feel of the original early 90s rave style intact while also bringing it into the present day. Furthermore, I really enjoyed making this project, and I hope you like what I've put together. For great nostalgia! Let's go back to Christmas 1995! (Or whenever you bought this game) Game Developed by Reflections Interactive and released by Psygnosis in 1995 on PlayStation, Saturn and MS-DOS Original Music Composed by Tim Swan & Elliott Sumner / Remixed, Rearranged and additional production by Xendraven
  3. Not sure if it is possible to post this remix here because it's a fan game, but might as well. Loved giving the original a new nature-esque coat of paint, as well as making it feel more complete (with a constructive beginning and end - sort of an adventure in a way). Probably my favourite remix produced so far. Thx in advance to whoever listens. Kindest regards, Metris
  4. I'm surprised we don't have any more Zelda games tossing him FAR into the future...Not like BoW, but like couple of millennia or so.
  5. Hey guys! First time posting here. Just thought I'd share a remix of some Star Fox music, particularly from the first level, "Corneria". Hope you guys enjoy it, and was hoping to get some feedback! Thanks. ❤️ /michael
  6. If so, I think I'd need @Sam Dillard's permission to do so --- and you could help me to convince him by leaving your upvote in the comments. The more, the better! I'd really be hyped if people in this community had an interest in a successor to Metroid: Organ Transplants and to let me build this 1h45m monster! IMHO, Sam's work is just BREATHTAKINGLY PHENOMENAL. However, sometimes you can add even more cherries on top of the sundae... ^^ Let's make this the world's most buttered and sugared icecream milkshake candybar piece of soundtrack awesomeness on this planet! EDIT I'm talking about his most recent album, Metroid Cinematica Recharged, which was released just a few days ago on July 1st 2020. Watch his release trailer here:
  7. https://youtu.be/Lyli7Ld4AYE I finally decided to go through with Balrog's theme from Street Fighter! This is such a good tune, I love the original for its easy form and potential to experiment with. I went towards an 80s disco style and had to go through with a key signature transposition to get the result I wanted, a bit tricky but it went well. The original has a nice groove I tried to stay close to, and the melodies are so easy to remember that they stay in your head long after the song has ended. I had so many ideas for this one, I just hope I chose one worthy and exciting! As I mentioned I went towards an 80s disco style, I really got the vibes from a late friday night out with the boys, drunk on life (and alcohol) just dancing that last dance before an unknown after party emerges. And during the after party, this groove goes on until early morning. Maybe you hooked up with a pretty girl (or boy) lying on a grass hill, holding hands and watching the starry sky getting more and more illuminated by the first morning sunrays. Cheers for a new day and for that old days we remember so dearly! And may there be peace once again. /Neon X
  8. Main part done. Still have some adjusting to do; breakdown might be re-written, gonna see if it grows on me. PS: Tried posting the embedded code, but I can't get it to come up... dontknow..
  9. Three's A CrowdFL.mp3 This is a short work in progress I thought I would throw up here. It's less than half done, but I thought I might try to get some feedback:)
  10. This is a remix I did on FL Studio mobile, and uploaded to Soundcloud. I think it turned out pretty well, all things considered. I think Soundcloud altered the sound this a little. The sub bass seems a little enhanced compared to the WAV file, and 1k-2k seems a little suppressed. Thanks for feedback ahead of time!
  11. I've discovered this bg music in a Mario Flash bootleg game (called Super Mario Remix 3) and I really liked it. Probably is a remix of a bg music and I'd like to know the origin of it. I don't think it was made by the creator of that game, because flash bootleg games used to take songs or remixes from other sites. I know that this page is special for remixes and I've discovered great remixes in this page (for example I've discovered a remix of SMW Castle Theme that was used in another mario bootleg game called New Super Mario Forever 2012). If you could tell me where it comes from. I'd very grateful. Thanks for your attention.
  12. UPDATE JULY 17th Latest version with slight mix tweaks. Bass gets its own little climax at the end of the transition / buildup so it doesn't feel like it just keeps hanging there. DESCRIPTION I decided to come back to a remix project that I never really finished to satisfaction. I shared an earlier version here on OCR and now I'd like to share the updated version. This remix combines two tracks from the Donkey Kong Country 2 soundtrack (SNES): "Bayou Boogie" and "Stickerbush Symphony". Original composer: David Wise. This is an updated version from an earlier attempt, titled "Swamped with Nostalgia" I replaced some instruments and added my own recorded bird song samples. After some problems with mixing I decided to go with a "less is more" approach and cut away samples and instruments to maximize the elements that I like. Newly added is the acoustic guitar chords, created by NI's Session Guitarist, which gives it the flavor I had been looking for but couldn't produce the first time. The transition between the two tracks now does what I wanted it to do all along! The overall structure and most instruments have remained the same. So has difficulty mixing and mastering (I slapped on a Maximus preset and tweaked that a little until it sounded right to me. Then came back the next day with semi-fresh ears to do a final tweak.) Here it is, for your enjoyment. [REMOVED OLD LINK. SEE LATEST ABOVE]
  13. Something I put together on my phone using Caustic. I'm working 25 plus hours of OT a week, so breaks at work are the most time I have to do anything like this. Feedback please. Remix Original
  14. A wave of Zelda nostalgia has come over me recently and I felt compelled to remix the Title theme of Zelda: OoT. The first melody you hear in the game after turning it on is gorgeous and I had to pay tribute with this lofi/hip hop inspired cover/remix. I had a lot of fun making it and plan to do more Zelda remixes in the future. I hope you enjoy it!
  15. Here is my remix for Rundas so far! I just need to add some guitar and some other things. This may change quite a bit. So far I have almost everything finished! The voice may not stay as it is. I may use a vocoder. Let me know what you Metroid Prime lovers think about it so far. August 3 Update Added guitars! August 4 Update Added Rundas' Voice! August 5 Update New Guitar parts
  16. So I'm sharing this again;) I've been fooling around with Cakewalk, FL Mobile, Caustic...and FL Studio Producer edition. I did all of the arranging for this tune in Caustic for Android. I tweaked the final sound (with my limited knowledge) with FL Studio 20. I have been fooling around with the different DAWS I just mentioned, and for some reason, so far, this is my favorite product. I don't get much time these days to fool with music. I like how this sounds, it reminds me of MOD files from back in the day. I wonder if this remix sounding this way would ever pass the panel...I believe chip tunes have made it through, I wonder if this style would ever pass, as an artistic choice. I would appreciate some constructive feedback! EpicFootStepsCaustic.wav
  17. So yeah, this is something that has gone through quite a few permutations, and this is my latest attempt:) This was completely done on my phone, mostly during breaks at work, as I have very little time to do anything musical at all at home...I have a toddler;) Most of this was done with Fruit Loops Mobile, with an excerpt from Caustic...the vocoder part. I did a quick and dirty master with the Caustic mastering app. I appreciate the feedback the judges have given through this process...and I have tried to apply their critiques. High pass filter set low frequency, so cool. I appreciate and wish for feedback, Thanks!:) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CNSnJLjYjUOpeKlf0TUSajeFjPxAmrRd/view?usp=drivesdk
