  1. Thanks for the awesome compliments! I hope you keep enjoying my mixes (and the rest of the SD3 album as well of course); I think my two tracks on this album are the best ones I've written so far

  3. To be honest I didn't think this song was really that good. It was incredible rushed and not mixed besides some panning and volume adjustments. But I guess it was good enough. Everyone always has something to improve on for next time.

  6. I am blindsided with joy! Just recently I was thinking how nice it would be if OCR did an epic album based on Seiken Densetsu 3. I never knew it was in the works, it was just a thought, then BAM! Here it is. Wow! Thank you guys so much! EDIT: Just noticed PU Freak posted above me, I gotta say I am a huge fan. Your piano arrangements are the best I've ever heard, easily the best music I listen to. Your contributions to any OCR album are invariably my favorite parts and I am literally crying listening to For king and Country on this album, and I know the Missingno Tracks has been around for a while but I can't seem to go a week without listening to Clash of the titans and Journey's end. Clash in particular gets me more pumped up for a good old fashioned pokemon battle than the games themselves did when I was 8, which is 100x more of an emotional reaction than I get out of a lot of music. I'm sorry to ramble on, I'll stop before this turns into a true rant but you are the best and I want you to know that. keep up the incredible work!

  15. I basically stopped remixing from 2004 to 2015 while I was more useful to people for the other stuff I do, but I'm back now and have been concentrating on proper orchestral arrangements for this concert (which I'm responsible for): https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-45677787 - I hope some of you will come to this! (website is http://www.8-bit-symphony.com) One thing we're not using in the concert is this cover of Ghouls and Ghosts... (the C64 version with Tim Follin's messing) which you can download from here if you want: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gvkz9y1zgaabcuu/07. Ghouls and Ghosts.mp3?dl=0 This is before it's been cleaned up and otherwise messed with by the orchestrator who makes sure the scores are as playable by humans as I think they are! Done mostly with Orchestral Tools and recorded straight out of Sibelius Ultimate. Er, cheers

  16. Improv based on a 5 second tune? Love it! Catchy, smooth, and easy to hear the source all the way through, even with some really fun interpretations! I was ready for the intro to set the tone for the whole piece, but I was pleasantly surprised by the more upbeat sections. I could handle listening to this while I punch in a password. Heck, probably would sit there for a while to hear it all the way through before I hit start. Nice woik!
