  1. Sweet I'm on Team Robot. I'm ready for this and hope to win this time. Good luck everyone.
  2. Why is Starphoenix on there more than once? I thought I registered a few months ago but I'm fine either way.
  3. I love your idea but the theme seems a little hard to work with. I think Fini would be drums (kick and hi-hat), Bulu would be the bassline, Lele would be bells/chimes (as you suggested), and Koko would be the lead. I chose drums for Fini because they're a supportive and rhythmic instrument. I might do a piece with an idea like this.
  4. Sounds even better with organ but the piano version was great too. Here's some examples of the Zun pieces I thought of.
  5. I really like this, it sounds like a cross between Zun (Touhou) and Tchaikovsky. It sounds like a legit classical sonata in MIDI format and if you used an organ plugin, it'd be awesome. Do you have any tips for making stuff like this? Keep up the good work.
  6. Merry Christmas Eve, OCRemix. To celebrate this time of giving, I'm giving you guys the first demo. I made it today and hope to get a little feedback on it (It's a little repetitive and was mixed by me but I think it sounds nice).
  7. Sorry Nikanoru, I just began thinking of ideas for the remix and am still brainstorming. I might need a little more time before any basic demos come out. I'm very eccentric but I'm equally passionate about my music. I'll P.M. you maybe next week ...
  8. I know I sent my entry and it's more varied this time. Is it good enough for the album?
  9. Is it too late for me to join. I have an eccentric style and am very passionate about music. I was curious which tracks are left and if any of them would be recommended. I was thinking "Space Armada" myself but I'm open to requests.
  10. Hi, I'm an eccentric Electronic musician and remixer. I was curious how one arranges/remixes 3 or more sources into one coherent and melodic mix. I think it's so cool when someone does that and would love to do it myself. Got any tips (I'd really appreciate it)? Here's a nice Kingdom Hearts example of someone achieving this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8HoMQVVn5c
  11. Here's my eccentric yet Christmas style (I hope it's holiday styled enough) remix for the project. Tell me what you guys think.
  12. I wanted to ask for an opinion on a couple of my original pieces. They're Kingdom Hearts based but are more in my own style than Yoko's. Advice for improvement/constructive criticism is highly appreciated (just try to be nice). Here's an attempt at RPG music I did this weekend. It's a theme for both Marluxia (Kingdom Hearts COM) and to a lesser extent, General Grievous (Star Wars). I usually make my own motifs when writing music but I occasionally use bits of existing motifs (depending on the character). Tell me what you think (I've gotten a little less repetitive over time). Here's a boss theme for Maleficent and Pete in KH3. Enjoy!
  13. This is an amazing remix and nice gift for the hectic election season (here in the United States). It's so gorgeous and atmospheric while making 2 good sources even better.
  14. I feel ya, Starpheonix. I think this is going to be a fun competition. Good luck OCRemix and may the best win.
  15. This is insanely catchy yet would make a sweet Halloween remix (perhaps with a freakshow feel). I'll try my hand at a remix of this.
  16. Am I in this contest? If so when will it start? I'm rather excited despite playing neither Megaman GB nor Shovel Knights. If I'm on a team, I'll probably remix the parts provided by my teammates and have someone else master it.
  17. I haven't done a contest since that RPG contest in August 2016. I think I'll be on the Robot team (I'm more familiar with Megaman and know almost nothing about Shovel Knights) but do I have to choose a source tune like last time. I have an eccentric style and would prefer to work alone. Have a good day.
  18. Hope everyone is having a good day. I already submitted my third demo and it should be sufficient. Anyway I got a song remix contest I need to finish by October 10th so I'll be a little busy until then. I've got an eccentric style and hope it fits everything ...
  19. Starts out slowly but quite satisfying. Love the energy and the arrangement is very tight. Good work overall.
  20. It's rare for a remix to combine over 7 sources and come out sounding awesome. This mix manages to accomplish just that and fit Wario's character as well. Very good mix overall and deserves more attention.
  21. Thanks to the reboot that began a few years back, I'm a big Jojo fan. It's an amazing anime/manga and I actually have an old copy of that game (still haven't beaten Dio yet). What are the other 3 themes? I might remix this one.
  22. I used to be a Sly Cooper fan in my youth. Anyway I can't believe someone had the balls to remix this one and am impressed by what you did (even though it could use some work). What tempo is this at anyway? There really needs to be some Sly Cooper remixes on OCRemix.
  23. First is "Birth of A God" (FFVII). It's a great boss theme but sadly overshadowed by "One Winged Angel". Second is "Dreadful Fight" (FFIV) because of it's so catchy for a boss theme. Next is "Kefka Theme" (FFVI). It's a perfect representation of Kefka's character and has a delightfully deranged circus feel. I've been thinking about remixing this one for a while. Finally "Overworld" (FFX) for being an awesome Metal tune. I think that should be a good start.
  24. I just wanted to say that I made the second deadline. I hope everyone is having fun with this ...
