  1. I thought I commented on this. Not really sure what the scale is. At 4:17, in the original track, I hear three chords play. It's sort of a subtle glissando. That may not be the correct musical term. I guess you can say the notes are a tad more humanized rather than three notes pressing down at the same time. So I wrote out what I hear, and maybe you'd like to throw it into your remix. Someone with a better ear could probably tell you the correct notes. I'm not saying yours are wrong. In your remix, you only have the final note being played, which I believe are A, E, and then D. Overall, I like the direction you took from the original. It still has that qualm feeling. This Divine Beast was one of my favorites, as well as the boss, but I felt unsure of what I was supposed to be doing.
  2. I was expecting the beginning to immediately sound like Smash Bros. The intro had me thinking I was listening to something entirely different. Interesting take on one of the Smash Bros. themes. It's always great to see new remixes for Super Smash Bros. Good job!
  3. Cool! A new Ninja Gaiden remix. I love the solemn feeling in this.
  4. I gave up on Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions. It's sad to say, but I'm willing to bet that game isn't really all that difficult. I was playing it on the Wii, though, so the controls weren't helping. If I had an opportunity to play it on a regular controller, then perhaps I could get through it.
  5. I really enjoyed the part where it became upbeat, as if there was a battle raging on in the Great Sea. But from start to finish, it was wonderful to listen to. Good job on your remix, Argle.
  6. This took a lot of time to do, no doubt. This one shouldn't be passed up. This is really good.
  7. I wonder what kind of art style this is? Is it just called ink pen art? It's very strange, and I mean that in a good way. It's crazy how much detail you put into each drawing. Very nice.
  8. Is that Arlo? Haha! I loved that movie.
  9. I'm very impressed with these. The iris on the last picture looks a bit strange. I hate drawing eyes in general. It's been a long time since I've drawn something realistic looking, though. Keep it up. I can tell you put a lot of work into getting where you are now. Good job.
  10. This can't be allowed to be swallowed into the abyss. This is too beautiful of a remix. I literally felt like I was somewhere else just listening to this. I saw myself in a cave, looking up at an opening where I could see the clouds and sky. Once I climbed out, and below me was a forest, with mountains in the distance. I don't usually say weird stuff like this, but that's the imagery that was there for me.
  11. It sort of reminds me of something from an 80s action movie. I don't know if you intend to have this submitted or not, but if you do, it's going to require some changing. The source itself is fine, you should add your own melodies in somewhere, whether it be a new intro for the original song, or change it somewhere along the way. Take these two for example. Same songs, but sound different from one another in their own way:
  12. I never really bothered to think of it this way, but hearing it on the piano, or perhaps how you played it, reminds me of music you'd hear in a Hymn, minus the words. Anyway, that was very nice.
  13. When I first heard your WIP, I almost didn't recognize the theme. It has more of an ambient sound to it, and the 80s flavor changes everything, too. I like the lo-fi drum sections. Keep it up. I hope this gets accepted.
  14. The watery sound is definitely there. I'm not particularly fond of the original theme, but this remix did it justice. Again, I'm not particularly fond of the original theme in the SNES game.
  15. Just Coffee? I think I have you on SoundCloud. Really loving this remix. It sounds old school and it's creative, too.
  16. That's pretty funny that I wasn't the only one who heard the Super Mario Bros. Castle Theme. If you do decide to try that out, I hope to hear it to see how it turned out. If it works, though. Otherwise it might not be a good idea. But I guess we'll see.
  17. I really like this. I think Meta Knight's Revenge could have transitioned better from Cocoa Cave. I probably would have kept the drums going through that transition like a DJ mixing one track to the next. Overall, this is rather enjoyable. I'm glad to hear some stuff remixed and put up on OCRemix.org.
  18. Two things occurred to me while listening to your remix, if it's OK to call it that at its current state. 1. I want to say taking the Castle Theme from the original Super Mario Bros. and layering it on top of your Boss Theme sounds like it could work. I don't know for sure, though. So give that a shot if you want to. 2. Using the ending jingle, but not as the ending. Before doing your transition into Wart's Theme, if you're going to put that in your remix, do the Boss Theme > Ending Jingle > Wart's Theme. Not like a medley, either. Try to make it flow into one another naturally.
  19. Agreed with Gario. Unfortunately, Act 3-2 is the only remixes done for Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos. There are so many themes in NGII that I'm surprised we haven't gotten anything new. I understand that the game is pretty dated, but still, the classics is where it's at. I really love your version of Act 2, the train level.
  20. Nice remix you have going. I really enjoy hearing stuff from the 80s and 90s being remixed with a particular genre style such as this. I'm more into synthpop and synthrock, but I'm loving this, too.
  21. This is beautiful. :3 I really love how each note was played. And when I first heard the deep bass, I was in love. But the most meaningful section in this to me was at 2:04. Darn onions making me cry again. Lol. Great job.
  22. I'm getting sort of an 80s, early 90s vibe, which I'm really enjoying. The lyrics are amazing, which is saying something, because I'm not really a fan of lyrics thrown into video game music that didn't originally have any. I also feel like if you took this to a club or wherever, it wouldn't immediately come off as sounding like a video game remix. Great job!
  23. This is like Castlevania wall meat for the ears. It's not what I expected and it's delicious.
  24. I can see a lot of remixes flooding in from this game. The music in it is really nice. I like your take on the music. Nice little placements of some other Zelda themes in it, too.
