  1. Here's another one! As the nights are becoming longer and colder we thought to keep you guys warm with a proper shuffle blues riff, this time from the amazing niche SNES gem PLOK! The then very young Tim and Geoff Folin got something amazing out of the limited capabilities of the SNES music chip, something that is as quirky and unique as the whole game. Enjoy and remember! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feMWBujjQ2M Stefan of REMEMBER CITADEL ( https://www.facebook.com/remembercitadelband )
  2. Source: Been playing Mario for as long as I can remember. Wanted to pay homage to the series and share in my joy of the success of the newest Mario game. Much love PS Underwater themes are always my fave
  3. Source: I'll admit (despite my normal inclination toward humility) I'm damn proud of this. I don't know what I would change from a mix perspective or anything but the real question is... Too conservative for OCR? XD That's the thing I have trouble gauging. Lyrics are attached. FallingDownLryics.txt
  4. Hello Everyone! I've been remixing video game songs for a few months now and I'm finally posting them here. This is my latest remix, Ken's Theme from Street Fighter II. It's complete, but before I submit it, I need to finalize the name. Currently, I'm referring to it as "Street Fighter II Ken's Theme Hard Rock Remix," but if anyone could suggest a better name, that'd be great. Let me know what you think of this one. I have a few other completed songs that I'll post soon as well. Dallas
  5. Hi :)! I finished new cover. It's Underwater theme from Super Mario Bros. I went for the clean guitar and i think it turned out quite okay. Feedback is appreciated! Here is the Cover: Here is the Original:
  6. Hey guys, I recently completed an arrangement of Song of Storms for solo piano. Still polishing up the sheet music, but I will release it eventually. I love the original tune and I really think its one of the most memorable pieces in video game music history. With my arrangement, I wanted to expand the piece a little bit harmonically and add some delicate ornamentation in the melody. The end result felt more like a piece of Breath of the Wild, than something from Ocarina of Time. I'm considering doing versions of all the ocarina tunes from the game in the future. I think it would be fun to expand on them in a similar vein. I had a lot of fun working on this, and I hope you guys enjoy it too. Thanks for listening!
  7. Wassup all! Check out the vocal version of “Cap Kingdom: Bonneton” from Super Mario Odyssey! This had a Tim Burton/Nightmare Before Christmas feel so I tried make the song in such that way! Enjoy!
  8. Hey everyone ! Here's my cover of the main theme of Silent Hill. Enjoy
  9. Hello! I made cover for the Smurfs NES soundtrack. Song is "Flight on a Stork" (Act 05). I wanted to lift up this awesome theme with strings and distortion guitar :D. Feedback is appreciated! Here is the Cover: Here is the Original:
  10. Hello :). I finished my new music video. It's a cover about Final Fantasy 2 - Main Theme. It's a cool song and i wanted to try some "clean guitar" kind of arrangement for it. Feedback is appreciated :)! Here is the Cover: Here is the Original:
  11. mp3: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1bp4pINjINbd1FiaVJtMlNmeVU flac: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1bp4pINjINbdVFrYXdIWEppWUU This is a cover of the music from one of my favorite games, Trick-or-Treat Beat, an old Shockwave game on the Cartoon Network website. I tried to recreate the sound pretty closely (since I like it so much), but I extended the arrangement quite a bit. It also has a quote from its spiritual sequel, Scared Sweet: I don't know if this could get through the submission queue in time for the 31st, so I might have to put off submitting it until next year maybe? (I will be putting it on my YouTube.) Unless of course somebody says "go ahead"...
  12. Super Mario fans! What if Super Mario Odyssey level music with lyrics? I loved the Bubblaine song so much I added lyrics to it! Real smooth, jazzy, and relaxing beach tune. Enjoy! I also did Wooded Kingdom. Hope you guys like it!
  13. Hey there! A few months ago, I was working on this Lemmings arrangement, one of the original tracks of the game by Tim Wright. I had to stop it, and after recovering it, I then decided I'd go a bit crazy with the looping in the last part of the track, and after trying, I think it really adds to conceiving the ultimate Lemmings experience lol, as in some points, you got them all doing a million useless things just to make them all explode in the end... and it is Oh no! but it's actually a really spectacular effect, visually speaking lol. This is my arrangement: Hope you bounce to it and that it makes you smile Original (SNES version) :
  14. As I started working on some of the music from Street Fighter 2 I got inspired to try something different, this is the result. I was just going to do a version that was true to the original (below) but, I had a hunch that this particular theme would work as an orchestrated piece. Second track, a re-make the original in FL studio, to give people an idea of what it would sound like if Capcom remade the game with modern technology.
  15. Yesterday, August 25th, was the 20th anniversary of one of my favorite games, Goldeneye. I got it for Christmas as a kid, and It was the first game I ever owned. I must have played that game for hundreds of hours, both single and multiplayer, loving every minute of it. Of course it helps that I was a huge James Bond fan, but even to this day it's one of the games from my childhood that I have the most fond memories of. What stuck with me the most though, as the years passed by was the music. So to celebrate the games 20th anniversary I decided to "Remaster" the entire soundtrack. I used something called N64midi tool to extract the original game midi and imported it into FL studio, that way I could perfectly match the rhythm and individual note length of each track, instead of just playing it by ear, which I'm not very good at. It took me about three months to get this project finished in my spare time, most of the time spent mixing and carefully picking the right instruments to strike a balance between mirroring the original sound and making it sound like the tracks were recorded with real instruments. I even got so inspired that I wrote a new original track in the style of the games soundtrack. I've uploaded the whole project onto my newly started YouTube channel, along with links to mp3 files in the description of every track. I really hope you guys enjoy my work as I have enjoyed listening to the various works posted to this site over the years.
  16. Debuted this arrangement back on 9/30 with my jazz/VGM group, The Hard Modes (I'm playing sax). I counted it in a hair too fast and ultimately rushed the melody--the groove definitely could have benefitted from us laying back a bit more. My excuse is going to be that this was the second-to-last tune of the show and I was amped up from how the night had gone to that point Also, fun fact: the groove was influenced by Bernard Purdie's work on Steely Dan's Home at Last. If you'd like to read more about the project as a whole you can also check out my website. Thanks for listening!
  17. Just remix of my favourite songs from Undertale! https://drive.google.com/open?id=1clDy81nyEyEWnDZc6r1j7sNwploLKp5p
  18. Hi again :). I published my first Kingdom Hearts cover. The song is Simple and Clean. Like the name says, i arranged it with clean tone :D. Feedback is appreciated! Here is the Cover: Here is the Original:
  19. 20. I wanted to create an atmospheric and ambient remix of the wonderful Dragonborn theme of Skyrim. Hope you enjoy it!
  21. 3 of my favourite street fighter characters theme's remixed in a metal style. Enjoy! Original material below...
  22. Overwatch fans! So I definitely created an EDM Remix featuring Genji's "I Need Healing" phrase! This has my own vocals as well. I guess its an original/game remix. I also created a lyric video for it! Hope you enjoy!
  23. These recordings came from the premiere of my VGM-based jazz group, The Hard Modes, on 9/30 (same as my last post). This particular arrangement was inspired not only by Uematsu's original cut, but also by the ridiculously awesome cut from the piano collections album. Enjoy! If you'd like to read more about the project as a whole you can also check out my website. Thanks for listening!
  24. Original: I'd be grateful for your feedback on this. I am willing to improve if need be.
