Flashdance
Dear All, Mega Manniversary is December 17, 2007; please make sure you try to preorder the game before the end of this month. This anniversary, it's based on the Megaman Battle Network GBA series of games, and also allows you to plug in these carts from the first 6. CAPCOM has just released three versions of Rockman of the Shooting Star, Preorder these DS cards at your local game retailer or on CAPCOM's website: www.capcom.com/megaman. Thankx! The Pezman
The word "Manniversary" brings all sorts of disgusting images to mind that I'd care not to ever have repeated again. Also, us preordering the game helps you how?
Necrotic
uhh... I'm beyond confused as to what the goal of any of this is or what any of this is explain better? I think you're getting too excited or something.
Dyne
This is probably just one of those people that's paid to go out and plug product for the company. It really raises the question, "do they really think we're NOT paying attention to the games?"
SoloGamer
I still want Mega Man Mania for the GBA : (
Arek the Absolute
So...what the fuck is this? All I see is a shill for starforce.
Nec5
The MegaMan Collector's Edition for the Gamecube was piss poor. No thanks. I just play them on the original NES or via emulation. Stop regurgitating. Then again, if people continue to buy...
Arek the Absolute
The MegaMan Collector's Edition for the Gamecube was piss poor. No thanks. I just play them on the original NES or via emulation. Stop regurgitating. Then again, if people continue to buy... The PS2 version, on the otherhand, was awesome. If there is a new game that isn't on the Battle Network timeline, I'll pick it up no questions asked. I checked capcom's site and all I see is 1up doing a sort of month long tribute to Megaman and info about Star Force. Blah.
Dyne
I'm not really too impressed with Star Force. I just don't think it'll be all that great. Then again... If ZX was Capcom's wake up call, then maybe we're in for something good.
NeoForte
Being a Megaman fan I will be getting Star Force (Drago Version) but yea most reports are its kinda meh (but I enjoyed the EXE games so I think I will in this one too). Look to the sequel seems they will follow the EXE mold and not much graphically will change :/
eternal Zero
Megaman going the way of Sonic makes me sad.
NeoForte
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=176754 Links are on there. Capcom is doing a poll to see what console people would like Megaman to appear. Ps3 and Wii are pretty close so cast your votes today! Devyn
Bring back the original Megaman. Give the game a real budget. Make the game awesome. Combine new technology with the passion of the first three games, and let our hero die in glory rather than in a sea of mediocrity. That won't happen. BigBoss
Bring back Megaman Legends. Fixed for epic justice.
ProjectSpam
Mega Man is such a fond memory of my childhood. Quit killing it.

Broken
Fixed for epic justice. I like that series as well. I guess that makes three of us..... in existance.
Yoshi3gg
Bring back Megaman Legends. Actually... ...if he could make a current-gen Mega Man it'd be Mega Man Legends 3...
HalcyonSpirit
I'm also hoping beyond hope that Legends 3 sees the light of day, but I also know that it's highly unlikely.

The Coop
spambot threads are teh it. Glad I'm no the only one to think this was done by a spambot.
Trump Ice
I jumped off the MegaMan bandwagon after MMBN4 sucked so hard. Being forced to replay the same, dry plot three times in order to get all of the cool items in the game was just too skullcrushing. I tried 5, but I never got back into the new games of the series and now have lost track completely. But I agree that a legends revive would be pretty awesome... Flashdance
As in, "Mega Manniversary" is just an obvious pun of CAPCOM's to announce the birthday of the Blue Bomber, Megaman. Thus, it's not really obscene, just as I said, pun. Sorry if some were disgruntled or horrified by the comment. I will try to make things less vague next time...after all, I don't think or speak vaguely. I doubt I can even learn anything in the world in less complexity. That's my brain for you, and it's all compressed databanks NS
