I think the Southpark episode this week was awesome. It was hilarious how Stan acted as Clowie (however you spell that annoying chick's name) and how everybody's phones had the CTU ringtone. The whole skipping time idea was brilliant. Overall the episode was hilarious. If anybody is watching this season of 24, the issue of America's inside fear of radical Muslims is being confronted, and one of the morals is coming out to be that we shouldn't be quick to accuse people because of who they are. The Southpark episode was a parody of this season and the little Cartman conversation at the end was countering the concept of non-judgement. Smart that Matt and Trey caught on to 24 in such a way and was able to make a perfect parody. It's true, Cartman's intolerance saved Mrs. Clinton.

Ok I need to stop working at Taco Bell. Fast food isn't fun. If you have cool people then it isn't that bad, but the place hires people who don't really have aspirations and drags everybody down. I think more dumb customers on average go to fast food, but most of those dumb people aren't really that dumb. It's probably because you are treated like just a fast food guy and people turn off the self-awareness portion of their brains once they walk in the door. I think for my summer job I want to work at Best Buy or be a firedog, though I should probably work for that tech certification first. Hell a lot of your guys' job descriptions make me want to work at your respective jobs. This is a cool thread.

Saw it with 10 of my friends. We bought our tickets on fandango four hours previous to the 7:00 PM showing. THANK GOD. Because when we got to the theater, that shit was sold out. The lobby was filled with people waiting for the 10:00 PM showing. The movie was fucking awesome. When the long haired guy who at first I thought would be a nub went out and just raped everybody in slow motion, a tear dropped from my eye. That's probably the single coolest action scene I've ever seen. So much of the action was extremely well done. Completely met my expectations. The theater was packed, and there were many laughs and cheers to be had. One of the best movie experiences I've had in a while.

Wow. Awesome. Looks straight out of a disney/pixar movie. The music is great. And I love side scrolling platformers. EDIT: I really wanna play this game. If the PS3 comes down in price in the future I might just buy one.

It's really boring to listen to. Lighten up a tad on the reverb, as it's strings and only strings. More movement, ie more dynamics. More articulations. Overall more humanization. Every mix has potential to be outstanding, and this especially. There is so much you can do to to make this beautiful and flourishing. Try to work with how to make the voices enhance the actual mood. For example, upward scales sweeping across the bass/high spectrum, interlaced arpeggios, half time and double time, counterpoints that are pretty active and keep one focused on what's new. Different rhythms, more variation on rhythms. Try not to keep the same slow march feel throughout the whole song, despite it being the driving force of the original track. If you want the song to have some real depth, focus on an exposition, a buildup, and a climax. Make these aspects extremely dramatic, and you will be praised for making the hairs on the backs of peoples' necks raise. Just listen to Starblast's Pillar of Salt. Keep it up and keep slogging through.

I forgot to mention Power Rangers: Fighting Edition. It is the most surprising gem I've played. It's a 2d fighter with pretty deep gameplay mechanics, and the animation and sound is really fighter style. For SNES, it's probably better than Street Fighter Alpha 2.

Maybe it's just the placebo effect, but after about 9:00 that little rapid sound's pitch and rapidity continued to rise, and after such a long buildup I was beginning to want a resolve to the intensity, like some sort of high point. It never came, so my heart rate started to rise as I started to focus on the rising pitch. It got me pretty excited, but worried also. I then turned it off and felt normal again, and I wanted to go to sleep. But I had to go to work.

What's so wrong with this? It's just a key. Btw, great ReMix.
