DreamChaser Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 This is definitely a great remix! It brought back some memories of the game. I remember playing this game when I was a kid! Definitely a wonderful remix... I think I would take out some of the synths, since it seems more like noise than just part of the song itself. Quote
Defend Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 I was thinking the same thing, mainly because I wanna hear nothing but that piano. Great piece though, would've loved to hear more of the piano, but I don't think more would have been enough anyway. Damn that's good... this makes me realise I have to get out more to hear real stuff like this. Just the skill in that playing grabbed me by the throat. Quote
Debotron-6K Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 I definitely owned a copy of this game back in the day. Great mix, especially the piano jamming. I love high energy mixes like this that combine electronic synthesis with straight-up instrumental playing. Hope to hear more submissions, Shane! Quote
smallestfry Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 Sweet mix! It's rockin and is just variable enough to keep it fresh. I like it a lot. Maybe Shane would be kind enough to release a piano mix for us, I'm sure we would all appreciate it. Quote
Phil1450 Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 Awesome! My only gripe is at 2:34 with that low piano note.. seems more like a mistake than anything else. But ohh yeah, this track rocks. Quote
OmNiExiZt Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 I have been waiting forever for someone to remix that song and he's done a damn good job. Not quite how I would have done it (if I could remix well) but a damn good job none the less. I give it a 15/10 Quote
RimFrost the Tourianist Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 Good job on this one ..i never played the game but i might have to do that now to get properly hooked Quote
Scuba Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 This track is damn nice, how a remix should sound. Piano is great, and I'm liking the bassline Great work. Quote
Old Man Pac Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 This is a great track, simply put. Its one of those songs you play over another games music. Both yellow thumbs up Quote
Dectilon Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 I don't see what was so great about the original, and thus I don't see what's so great here. But, the piano solo was absolutely great! More of that stuff! Quote
DarkeSword Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 Awesome work man. I really enjoyed this. Submit more! Quote
Dectilon Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 After hearing it a few times, I've changed my mind. It's not just the solo that's great, the whole thing is. The start is a little slow, but what ReMix serves the whole sound package at the start? Quote
Kaleb.G Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 This is awesome! I love everything about it. The instruments, the melody, and the overall feel. This remix sounds like really good video game music, and that's why I like it so much. I MUST hear more! P.S. Do you have a higher quality MP3 of this song available? Quote
Lacour Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 does anyone know where i can find the movie of this on DVD? Quote
SixthFlyingMan Posted May 7, 2005 Posted May 7, 2005 does anyone know where i can find the movie of this on DVD? Oh say WHAT? A Little Nemo in Dreamland MOVIE? I wanna know more. Oh yeah. The mix. Not quite download-worthy for me, I just didn't like it. Can't put my finger on why though... Hey. I'm caffeine-high, sick, CO-poisoned and it's 12:45 AM, and you expect me to THINK? Fat chance. Quote
Shwenky Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 This is the best remix on the site, after Time Management. 'Nuff said. Quote
Kozmo Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 does anyone know where i can find the movie of this on DVD? if you mean "Finding Nemo", then I'm sorely upset. Just kidding. Anyways, I hate to be the one to say it, but the intro immediately made my mind turn to Final Fantasy 3(American) Boss music. Listen to the first 2 seconds of it and then think of the very beginning of the boss music. DIE-HARD SQUARE FAN! Quote
OceansAndrew Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Great start to this one, nice intro synth, and piano solo lead into the track. Very cool beats and synth selection; that bass synth has a great arpeggio at the end of a few of the phrases. The piano is a real highlight throughout, and the layered percussion has some great rhythms. Really classy work, this is a great mix! Recommended! Quote
glasfen Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 This is one of the ReMixes that made me go back and play Little Nemo again. This is top choice mixing here, very energetic and altogether awesome. The Nightmare King is no match for Shane Barber! Quote
Bahamut Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 I remember first hearing this at a friend's dorm room - it's a curiously catchy song. The samples are unfortunately outdated - would love to hear this with updated ones. Quote
MrNemo Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Yeah, it is pretty amazing how old this sounds now. When I did it, it sounded pretty fresh to me. Maybe I will get around to it one day. By the way, I now do music under the name Rush Coil. Quote
WesternZypher Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Still sounds plenty fresh to me : ) Thanks for making this Quote
jennythemonkey Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 does anyone know where i can find the movie of this on DVD? Dude, I totally saw this back when I was a kid. My dad picked it out at the video rental store. One of the weirdest movies EVAR www.amazon.com/Little-Nemo-Slumberland-Mickey-Rooney/dp/B0055HK792/ref=sr_1_1 Quote
